Foot Locker and Adidas have teamed up with A$AP Mob member A$AP Rocky to promote their latest shoe the Tubular Runner S Sneaker. Sporting a minimalist upper, the Tubular rocks the Adidas’ Y-3 imprint with a woven strap and patterned design.
In the latest video for the ad campaign, A$AP Rocky walks the streets of New York wearing a pair of Adidas Tubular Runner S sneakers. With his track “Excuse Me” playing in the background, the video display’s the shoe’s sleek and streamlined design for a contemporary “street” look.
Rocky, who has been hailed by the brand for his modern street style, personality and musical success. He is also gearing up for a joint tour with OddFuture frontman Tyler, the Creator. In a recent interview with Revolt TV, Rocky praised Tyler’s talent: “I fuck with Tyler’s whole movement,” he said. “His aesthetic, what he does — directs his own videos, produces his own beats, designs his clothes, ran his crew for a while, ran companies and stuff like that. Just being a fellow artist I respect that.
The Tubular Runner S is now available but only for a limited time at Foot Locker stores and online.
