Jay-Z had announced on Twitter that Tidal was officially ‘platinum’ as they reached one million subscribers. He also mentioned Brooklyn and the date October, 20th. This left the world collectively pondering what exactly this meant, and we did not have to wait long.
Roc Nation revealed on Instagram that a special concert would be held at the Barclay’s arena on October 20th, and the line-up if of course A-list. The Tidal concert performers are Beyonce’, Jay-Z, Prince, Usher, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, T.I., Damian Marley, Indochine, Thomas Rhett, Fabolous, and many others.
The concert is a charity event with all proceeds going towards TIDAL X FUND at the New World Foundation. Tickets will be available to the public October, 1st at 12:00 p.m. EST and of course the show will be streamed on Tidal as well.
