Art imitates life quite frequently, and usually for the better. Jeezy very recently released a song called ‘Gold Bottles’ for his upcoming album, Church In These Streets. The song seemed to inspire Jeezy as he is set to release his own brand of luxury champagne entitled ‘Project Gold Bottles’. It is in association with Tequila Avion which Jeezy already has a business relationship with.
In a statement made in Hiphopwired, Jeezy had this to say about the deal:
I have long loved high-end tequila and champagne and this love has inspired me to create a rich, full-bodied champagne that represents my passion. I am fortunate to have a partner like Ken [Austin, founder] whose entrepreneurial track record includes my favorite ultra-premium tequila. Ken has a deep understanding of the drinks space and several luxury categories that I know will be invaluable to growing this business. I look forward to bringing a luxury champagne to my fellow artists and fans in the near future.
If you want to start popping these gold bottles you will have to wait until 2016. However, you can can enjoy some new music from Jeezy before then when his album drops on November 13th.
