The Urban Hitchcock team continues to stay extremely active this week with two affiliated releases. The abstract instrumental titled “Pam” by Jonathan Hay and DJ Whoo Kid is now available through all retail chains and “Sleepless” by Frankie Carrera featuring Bread Doe available everywhere.
Hay and the iconic DJ Whoo Kid team up for the unexpected “Pam” that sounds like something that belongs on a classic DJ Shadow release. It’s vintage hip-hop at it’s best. Expect to hear it on SiriusXM’s Shade 45.
Hitchcock affiliate Frankie Carrera (from Chicago) releases “Sleepless” which showcases his lyrical flow. Frankie is featured in the music visual series, The Urban Hitchcock LP produced by Jonathan Hay and Sweden’s Ajami on the MTV premiered song “Don’t Close Your Eyes” alongside Kxng Crooked of Eminem’s Shady Records and “When the Sky Opens Up” with Cyhi the Prynce and Truth Ali, which premiered on Yahoo! Music. Both songs have received hundreds of thousands of views and have been featured on all the major urban blogs and media outlets.
Frankie has recently taken the stage at Tattoo in Toronto and A3C Music Festival in Atlanta with the Urban Hitchcock team. These guys truly stay sleepless.
