Young Thug’s former road manager Jimmy “Pee Wee” Winfrey decided that fighting an attempted murder charge in Cobb County Georgia wasn’t the wisest idea so he accepted a plea of 10 year to serve behind bars plus an additional 10 years on probation. Winfrey was accused of firing shots into rapper Lil Wayne’s tour bus after both men had a dispute inside Compound Night club. Winfrey allegedly was responding to a beef that his artist Young Thug had with Lil Wayne. Rapper Thug has already denounced that he had any involvement in what Winfrey did however Lil Wayne and Young Thug still are not on speaking terms according to our sources.
Winfrey was also a teenage protege of Atlanta rapper T.I. years ago and appeared on T.I.’s MTV special Road to Redemption.
According to the indictment obtained by TMZ, after the shooting, Winfrey used a cellphone that was registered to rap mogul Brian “Birdman” Williams. Birdman is being sued by Li’l Wayne over a contract dispute with Cash Money Records.
