“Hate” is the first single from Mannie Fresh’s upcoming album The Mind of Mannie Fresh 2. The track is a Cash Money anthem with Mannie Fresh rapping alongside former label mates and once-frequent collaborators, Lil Wayne and Juvenile. “Hate” also finds Cash Money founder and Mannie Fresh’s Big Tymers partner Birdman on the intro and outro.
No surprise, the group track is a throwback to the classic Big Tymers-era Cash Money sound. Also produced by Mannie Fresh himself, the beat is a bouncy arrangement of drums and synths that will have you nostalgic of Cash Money’s golden years. Rapping fiercely as ever on the topic of fake hitters, the chemistry between the gang is strong as ever.

“Hate” will have fans hoping for the Cash Money to reunite of outside of the track as well. Mannie Fresh left the label in 2005 due to financial issues. Lil Wayne is still suing Birdman, despite pictures of them spotted in the club together. Juvenile has left the label more than once and has beefed with Wayne, his former Hot Boys partner, as well. At least, it means more coming from Mannie Fresh later this year, including his album dropping with Mass Appeal.
