Shocking! On-Duty Black Postal Worker Falsely Arrested by N.Y.P.D.

Five white New York City cops falsely arrested an on-duty federal postal worker while he was delivering the mail simply because he shouted at their unmarked moving vehicle because he was almost struck by it.

5 cops falsely arrested Glenn Grays, who is employed as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service after he narrowly missed being struck by their unmarked police vehicle. In trying to get them to slow down, he shouted at them that they almost hit him. Instead of them apologize for their reckless driving, they got out of their vehicle and put handcuffs on him and then drove him to the police station, leaving his mail truck unattended. Why did the cops arrest an uniformed mailman in the first place? Many have speculated that the only reason he was arrested was because the color of his skin. By arresting the postal worker, the cops themselves violated federal law by interfering with the delivery of mail among other possible violations.Former NYPD cop and now Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams stated during yesterday’s press conference:

“It is not a crime for someone to voice outrage after almost being struck by a vehicle … It is not a crime to state that you’re angry at someone who almost hit you. That is not a crime,” Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams stressed.

Here how federal reads when any person interferes with the delivery of the US mail.

Section 1701. Obstruction of mails generally
Whoever knowingly and willfully obstructs or retards the passage of the mail, or any carrier or conveyance carrying the mail, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.

Nothing in the code states that cops are exempt from the law. Let’s see if charges are filed by federal officials.
