Gearing up for this summer of 2016, CT-emcee, Rook, displays his love for the culture on his latest offering, “Intro.”
Before the main event starts, Rook rattles off a few speedy bars to a delighted crowd, without much change of inflection, insinuating he’s simply leveled off some light work. Soon after the track begins, with the attention being barred by heavy strings and sustained two-minute freestyle, Rook shows why he’s been able to hold his lyrical weight.
If his rap skills aren’t impressive enough, Rook is steady grinding in multiple lanes. He currently runs his own digital media company and also rocks a director’s hat having worked with Curren$y, Dave East, Smoke Dza, Termanology, Scram Jones and more.
