To get ready for May, which is National Water Safety Month, Grammy Award winning artist Ludacris, joined Olympic gold medalists, to host swim lessons for children.
Ludacris and the Olympians hosted the lessons on behalf of the USA Swimming Foundation’s “Make a Splash” program. Make a Splash offers free or reduced price swim lessons at partner pools, throughout Atlanta and nationwide. The program, seeks to combat drowning, which is the second-leading cause of accidental death in U.S. children, and most prevalent in African-American and Hispanic communities, where up to 70 percent of kids do not know how to swim.
Great job Luda!
