Although his name may not be entirely recognizable off the jump, Johnny “J. Blaze” Erasme is hardly new to the entertainment industry. The young, rising superstar — who spends his time between LA and Miami — has shared the stage with the likes of Ellie Goulding, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Robin Thicke and Nicki Minaj as a well sought-after dancer and choreographer.
Apart from his professional dance career, Johnny also helms the title of CEO and founder of his L.A.-based streetwear brand M$MD (Monkey $ee Monkey Do), which have been spotted on the backs of Nelly and Jason Derulo. When he’s not flexing his dance moves on (and off) stage, chances are you will probably find him hunkered down in a studio, recording new music. Poised to break heavy into the rap game, Johnny — who has already appeared on Good Morning America and Ellen as a performer, makes his grand return with his new single, “Just Dance.”
