From the Streets to Business Elite: The Rise of Mallio

    “Everyone has a calling, but not everyone answers that call.” This is a saying we all have heard once in or lives, and for some of us answering the call isn’t as easy as it seems. This isn’t true for  hip hop artist Mallio, a Cincinnati native on the rise to becoming a music legend.

    I had the opportunity to sit down and talk to  Mallio on his upcoming projects, being successful, and what it takes to become number one.  Mallio has used the power of social media to strategically position himself as a musical sensation with over a million views on World Star with his hit single Famous Feat. Mochavation.  “God has been blessing me to be around some solid people so I can make solid moves.” Mallio’s music is has broken into the west coast radio markets and he is continuing to work at breaking in records across the country.

    When asked what advice does he have for other Independent Artist in the industry. He shares 3 tips of advice. 1.) Chase your dreams no matter what. 2.)Stay away from negative people, and 3.) Love yourself.  “When I started out I had zero dollars  and lost everything. I had to do time in prison,  My little sister died, then my mother, I was at the bottom.”  With everything crumbling around him he shared that the one thing that kept him going was being able to be grateful for what he had and not focus on what he didn’t have. ” I started walking towards my dreams and every door I knocked on, those doors opened.”

    “I want to show the world my musical talents, it’s more to me then just lyrics.”
