After signing to Grand Hustle this past year, Translee talks avoiding industry vultures in Atlanta that can promise the behavior of fans. He also fills Teaacup in on the process of signing to the indie label and meeting T.I. after a mutual barber of theirs passed on his music. A lot of artist have skepticism when signing due to having limited creative control and being “put on the shelf” and the Huntsville native talks partnering with major labels to put out specific projects.
