Last March music mogul and film producer Manny Halley filed a 50 million dollar lawsuit against David Weise and Associates for Defamation of Character for accusing him of stealing money, engaging in fraud activity and forging signatures on contracts. Halley vehemently denied those allegations and accused David Weise of tarnishing his name and harming his brand. It appears now the matter has been resolved amicably among the parties as a settlement has been reached. Halley has successfully managed the careers of Keysha Cole, Nicki Minaj, Young Jeezy.
David Weise & Associates released the following statement:
The lawsuit between Manny Halley, David Weise, and David Weise & Associates has been amicably resolved. Upon further investigation the parties agree there was no criminal conduct. Manny Halley, David Weise and David Weise & Associates have cleared up the misunderstanding among them and each wishes the others well in their future endeavors.
Manny Halley was represented in the lawsuit by the law firm Browne George Ross. Browne George Ross has offices in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. David Weise & Associates and David Weise were represented in the lawsuit by Thompson, Coe & O’Meara. Thompson, Coe & O’Meara has its office in Los Angeles.

TMZ broke the story … Halley sued YT’s former finance guys, claiming David Weise & Associates sent an email alleging he racked up more than $200k in unauthorized charges. Manny, who had said the charges were for YT’s private jets for his concert tour, said the company was out to get him after he tried getting the company fired for bungling YT’s financial affairs.
We’ve also learned that Young Thug is no longer being represented by David Weise and Associates.
