The City Girls are making a name for themselves, as no-nonsense type of women. They’re blunt and very direct. Though Yung Miami is the only one on the scene right now, they’re both known for their unapologetic demeanor.
They’re fairly new in the game. And as we all know, celebrity skeletons are the first ones to come out of the closet. It was only a matter of time before their first scandal. In this case, some of Miami’s old tweets have popped back up to haunt her. Old tweets seem to be the bain of everyone’s existence at some point. This City Girl was no exception to the right of passage.

In the thread above, the Twitter user calls Miami out about her comments about Haitians. Most people came to her defense claiming that it was casual banter between Haitians and Americans, that is common in Miami, FL. Some said that the user was reaching because the tweets are from 2013, and that she needed to pick a side. The tweets were pretty explicit and shocking, to say the least. She calls them ugly and jealous, freeloaders, and tells them they need to go back to Haiti. There are four screenshot pages of tweets dogging Haitian men and women. But it doesn’t stop there another user dug up a tweet of hers that was on the homophobic side as well. Claiming to beat her son if he ever displays and “gay” characteristics.
It seems she learned her lesson though. She issued a public apology for her words and said she loves all her City Girls AND Boys. She claims to be older and wiser, and that those tweets don’t reflect who she is now. We’ve all said some things we regret, so it looks like people are letting this one go.
