Nicki Minaj dropped her album when we were least expecting it. And when “Queen” hit streaming services and shelves, the topic of discussion was the controversial song ‘Barbie Dreams’.
Nicki Minaj went back to her mixtape roots with this one. But instead of naming up and coming rappers, like she did in the original ‘Dreams’, she name-dropped some of the biggest artists out there.
In the video, she makes these men into puppets. Its fun and very colorful. I counted at least 4 wigs, all of them varying shades, and a few outfit changes. In the wake of the Cardi B incident, it looks like Nicki is still all business.
