Hip Hop Enquirer has exclusively learned that John David Jackson professionally known as rapper Fabulous has wed his long-term girlfriend and former reality star Emily Bustamante. Our sources revealed that the two were married a week ago by New Jersey’s Bergen County clerk in a private ceremony that was witnessed by friends and family.
The news of their marriage comes as a big surprise in light of the fact that Fabolous was previously charged with domestic violence against Emily B. stemming from a well documented heated argument at the home the two shared.
Fabolous is facing 4 felony charges related to his alleged assault on Emily B, the mother of his 2 children. A grand jury in New Jersey indicted the rapper last week on 1 count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, 2 counts of threatening to kill and 1 count of possession of a weapon … a pair of scissors.
How does their marriage help the rapper in his pending case you might ask? Well there is a constitutional right spouses have in testifying against the which is called “special privileges” that a spouse can assert in the prosecution of a crime. There are rare instances when these special privileges don’t sly with the court.
The fact that Fab and Emily B. have been seen around town as a happy couple will make it very difficult to convince either party to testify against each other.
Congrats to the lovebirds.
This is a developing story.
