Florida rapper Kodak Black is seriously feeling the heat from comments made via his IG live page where he disrespectful comments towards fallen rapper Nipsey Hussle’s wife after his passing. The rapper basically said that he would give actress Lauren London a year of mourning before he would try to make a move on her.

“I’ll be the best man I can be for her,” Kodak said. “I’ll give her a whole year. She might need a whole year to be crying and s— for him.”

He continued: “I ain’t trying to shoot [my shot] at her. I’m saying, listen. She can do two, three years. I’ll try to be like the friend if you need to holla or a shoulder to lean on. She can call my line.”

The comments were met with swift backlash, including from rappers The Game and T.I. and Justin Credible, a disc jockey at Los Angeles radio station Power 106, who pledged to no longer play Kodak’s music.

LA prosecutors have charged former gang member Eric Holder, Jr. aka Shitty for Nipsey Hussle’s murder. Holder is being represented by former prosecutor Christopher Darden who famously lost in the prosecution of OJ Simpson.

It might be a mute point for Kodak Black since South Carolina prosecutors are looking to convict him on a charge of sexual assault.

A local prosecutor tells The State that Dieuson Octave, whose stage name is Kodak Black, is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct. He says the rapper attacked an adult-age high school student in a hotel room after performing in Florence.
