Bhad Bhabie is no stranger to controversy, and this time, she is claiming that people don’t support her because of her race.
The 16-year-old is most known for her 2016 appearance on Dr. Phil. She took to Instagram, posting her frustrations that most female rappers are only popular because of their looks and not their talent.
“Ya’ll will promote half these female rappers that dead ass suck ya’ll only fck with most of them cuz they pretty or you like they ‘style,’” she wrote on her story. “I promise you these btches anit on that but when it comes to me a btch that can really rap ya’ll don’t wanna fck with me cuz how I came up and bc I’m white.”
She later posted another story excluding rappers such as Asian Da Brat, Megan Thee Stallion, Maliibu Miitch, Coi Leray, Tokyo Jetz, and Dej Rose Gold from her accusations. Some thought the Gucci Flip Flops rapper was throwing shade at Cardi B and the City Girls, however she quickly shut that down.
She later went on to threaten to quit rapping after her remarks quickly went viral, but she apparently changed her mind, as she posted “Nah fck that – I ain’t quitting sht” shortly after.
Despite her rants, Bhad Bhabie appears to be doing well. She reportedly signed a $1 million worldwide publishing agreement with Pulse Music Group earlier this week. She will receive $350,000 upfront followed by two $325,000 payments, according to TMZ.
