New York emcee Rasheed Chappell unveils a nostalgic video for single “Reflections.” Chappell’s latest work takes viewers through a trip throughout Queens, New York.
Smooth and to the point, Rasheed sonically embodied metaphors and bars that communicate to his audience that he’s in a constant elevation state of mind to where he can stay true to himself while rapping. Definitely one of a kind, Chappell never compromises to get his craft accepted but fully embraces himself, and it shows in his music.
According to Rasheed, “My story is simple, l stayed true to myself and what is authentic to me, and it garnered the attention and respect from legends, peers and fans the world over. I never compromised my art for the fad.”
“Reflections” also dropped his new EP ’15 Minutes In Queens,’ a compilation of five hip hop tracks that showcases Chappell’s storytelling and lyrical prowess. Rasheed has big aspirations for his upcoming music releases, and it’s something to keep tabs on.
Reckonize Real, the producer of the EP lives in Queens and they made it as an homage to the vibe in the area past and present. “Reflections” added a bit of flavor to the rollout due to its cinematic appeal.
