The millenial ran outlet, based in the tri-state region, Kazi Magazine looks to be a voice for budding musical talent and expanding on the legacies of household stars and names. With expansion to hit a national level in 2022, Kazi Magazine headed by Yung Kazi and Ahmad Davis continue to looks to innovate music coverage while maintaining a sense of diligence in content integrity.

Examples of new ideas Kazi has incorporated out it’s digital covers and bubbling editions. Artists such as G herbo, Queen Naija, Lul Kel, Fat Trel, Yung Bleu, Curren$y, the late King Von & OTF, Duke Deuce, and DDG have graced the platform in 2021. Last year names such as NLE Choppa, Key Glock, Coi Leroy, and Queen Naija made appearance as digital covers.

Bubbling editors has included the likes of Blxst, Kay Flock, 26 AR, and more diverse names. Kazi Magazine prides itself in going in depth with artists and really getting to know them for who they more as opposed to just the sound of their music.

Drawing inspiration from other outlets such as The Source, Fader, Preme Magazine, Hip Hop Enquirer and more, Kazi adds it’s bit of youthful flair and creativity to the mix with a state of the art website menus + other options. The Magazine wishes to collaborate with other platforms and influencers with expansion on the horizon to a more national scale.
