Anaya LoveNote has a positive story to tell. She began singing at the young age of seven. As a child in the foster care system, music helped her overcome hard times by covering songs by her favorites like Monica, Whitney Houston, and Toni Braxton.
Originally from Texas, Anaya headed to Atlanta to pursue her passion and has kept the momentum moving forward ever since. Eventually she relocated to the City of Angels to become a starlet. Her breakthrough hit “Secure the Bag” featuring Chanel West Coast and the Ying Yang Twins was a Youtube sensation. She later followed up with the official video for “She Ain’t Like Me.”
Now on the rise with her current video “Preference” and a partnership with concert touring powerhouse, Splash Life, Anaya is preparing for the biggest moves in her career yet. “I hope to have inspired others to follow their dream,” she says with excitement. “I want to leave behind a generation of wealth, happiness, and more success for mine to come.”
What are the most important things you want to let fans know about right now?
Self love! Accepting growth! And their past as well as new beginnings. I want them to have fun with life! And I hope I can bring that through my music.
How did you get your start in music?
My mom was an artist and she would stay on me about music after school. Fast forward years later, I moved from Texas to Atlanta and haven’t been back since – well except to visit family (lol). I have so many [moments] that was a stepping stone for me. It’ll be a long story to say where I started and how.
How would you describe your sound?
Fun, energizing! Very outspoken and mix with a lil’ old and new.
Which songs are you most known for?
My song “You” and as of now, “Preference.”
Do you have any collaborations and/or have you performed with any known artists/producers?
I have performed and collaborated with many, but my top favorites would be Too short, Chanel West Coast, and PNB Rock.
What do you love most about making music?
I love that I can express myself! It’s a way I can accept the world for however long I need to. I love how it makes me feel when the finished product is out – and others love it too.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
I see myself being one of the greatest influencers! Being able to take care of my family and future kids. In five years I pray that I have made a dent in my dreams. I hope to have inspired others to follow their dream. I want to leave behind a generation of wealth, happiness, and more success for mine to come.
