50 Cent has never been one to hold his tongue. Since he’s came into the game, he’s spoken his mind about a wide range of topics and people. Despite squashing the beef with Fat Joe during the Chris Lighty tribute at the BET Hip-Hop awards, Fif found away to show that he’s still the same old Curtis. Reacting to an interview that Bad Boy emcee and Maybach Music affiliate French Montana said in Complex magazine recently where he spoke about 50 and his penchant for beef.
“I feel like beef hurt him. I feel like it helped Ross unite people,” Montana explained using 50 as his example. “That’s why Maybach Music is one of the biggest labels. It just makes sense…Of course, Ross is on his fifth album. And like I said, he’s only getting bigger. This is going to be Ross’ first platinum album. He never went platinum. So when 50 came up, 50 sold 10 million. Then after his first album he just kept on going down. You think 50 could come out and sell 10 million now?”
Well, 50 didn’t react too well at that comment as you can tell by his early morning tweets. “French Montana you ain’t shit boy. You out your league talking about me you hoe. I read your little interview. What the fuck is you high,” tweeted 50. “French your shit so weak you never had a song by your self fool. Ain’t nobody’s waiting to hear your verse. Girl.”
French had no problem responding to 50 later that day with “Damn homie, in high school you was the man homie. What the fuck happened to you?” I’m sure this back and forth will not cease anytime soon.I hope he brings Pimpin Curly out of retirement. Remember Curly?
