David Michery, former business associate of the late Nate Dogg who died in 2011 from health complications after a series of strokes, is being sued for almost $300,00 in medical bills. According to TMZ, the medical bills were racked up at CareMeridian Center in California after Nate stayed there from 2008 to 2010. Michery admits to vouching for the bill in 2010, but says “I was the only person who would come forward because I didn’t want him to die. Me and Nate have 20 years history together and I did what everyone should have done and tried to save his life … not let him get kicked out in the streets and die.”

When asked if he regrets vouching for the bill that he is now being sued over, Michery stated  “Not at all … I would do it again in a minute. I just wish that the people he looked out for all these years and the people who claim to love him so much would help out”. Some of the rapper friends that Michery is referring to probably include West Coast legends such as Snoop Dogg, Warren G and even Dr. Dre. TMZ actually contacted Warren G and the rapper said “If I was able to pay for his hospital bill, I would have. I made several calls to numerous people for help. I love Nate … he’s my brother.”
