A hospital worker recently seized on the “opportunity” of a man dying by stealing his credit card information and then going on a shopping spree.
Police said that Margaret Nunn (pictured), a patient registration representative has admitted to robbing the unidentified 63-year-old victim, who died in the emergency room on June 10. Within three hours after his death, the victim’s credit card was used to purchase “airline tickets, bridal shoes, pay phone bills and other assorted items totaling over $1186.00,” according to Sarasota police. By the time she gets out of prison she will likely be eligible for her own credit cards.
