Moms Of George Zimmerman, Trayvon Martin Take The Stand
George Zimmerman’s murder trial in the murder of Trayvon Martin continues to intensify as day 19 of the highly publicized trial regarding the blatant murder of the teen continued to draw a racial divide on Friday.
This week was epic as mothers of both the killer and victim took the stand claiming it was their own respective son on the audio calling for help.
Florida’s Channel 13 news reported,
“I heard my son screaming,” Sybrina Fulton, Martin’s mother, said firmly after listening to a recording in which high-pitched wails followed by a gunshot could be heard.
Gladys Zimmerman listened to the same recording later in the day and answered, “My son” when asked whose voice it was. Asked how she could be certain, she said: “Because it’s my son.”
The conflicting testimony over the potentially critical piece of evidence came on the same day in which the prosecution rested its case and the judge rejected a defense request to acquit Zimmerman on the second-degree murder charge.
Justice for Trayvon will continue as the case resumes on Monday so stay tuned as @Hiphopenquirer will be back in the courtroom covering the murder of an innocent black teenager being pursued by a racist wanna be cop neighborhood watchman.
