If you expected to see DJ Khaled and Nicki Minaj walk down the aisle of holy matrimony any time soon, keep holding your breath! The rap superstar has finally broke her silence about the “marriage proposal” DJ Khalad made on MTV last week and basically said it was all a hoax.
Of course we at HHE knew it was that too because everyone knows Nicki Minaj is very much in love with her fiance SB.
Nicki Minaj called into Funkmaster Flex’s Hot 97 Radio show to clear the air and set the record straight. When asked about Khaled’s marriage proposal, Nicki giggled:
I was shocked just like the rest of the world and I was cracking up laughing with the rest of the world ’cause Khaled is a master at what he does…Khaled is my brother and Khaled was not serious with that damn proposal, ya’ll. Please let it go. He was kidding. He’s not attracted to me, he doesn’t like me. We’re brother and sister.”
When asked what did her inner circle think about the proposal, she responded:
“Nobody in my real life took it seriously. Everybody just hit me like, ‘LOL. Yo, Khaled is crazy.'”
