This past Saturday was suppose to the have been the premiere of “ODB Dirty: Platinum Edition”, the long awaited documentary on the life of Ol Dirty Bastard, Unfortunately the screening was the stopped by ODB’s estate. The screening was held by the NuHo Online Film Festival. NuHo managing partner Chris Kanik made the announcement just minutes before the debut that the screening could not take place due to a cease-and-desist courtesy of the late rapper’s estate. Despite the fact that the audience did not see the film, they did get to see RZA speak about the copyright law of the film’s cease-and-desist order along with the upcoming Wu-Tang album via Skype.
