A group of young adults were arrested this past Saturday on a New York City subway by the Transit Authority for assault and other charges after a verbal roasting by one of the females got out of hand. The entire incident was captured on camera by a passenger and eventually posted on Youtube.

    According to the NY Post:

The video shows a woman and her friends laughing at and taunting a man while on the train between the Broadway-Lafayette and West Fourth Street stations early Saturday.

“You got a wack— 8-ball jacket that came out in 1990,” Danay Howard, 21, yells at the man. “Get your money game up.”

Howard and two of her friends then notice another man filming the exchange with his cellphone. They run after him and one of them smacks the phone out of his hand.

The women then go back to insulting the man’s clothes, at which point Howard slaps the man from behind with her purse.

That’s when Kevin Gil, wearing the 8-ball jacket, turns around and smacks Howard hard across the face, knocking her off her feet.

Howard was charged with felony assault and disorderly conduct, while one of her pals, Shanique Campbell, 20, was charged with misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct, according to police.

Also arrested were Jorge Pena, 25, and Gil, 21, who were charged with misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct in connection with the wild subway brawl.

All four suspects were arrested just before 5 a.m. Saturday at the West Fourth Street station, according to police.

Pena was taken to an area hospital with minor cuts to his face, authorities said. No other injuries were reported.

Not the best way to start the holiday season.
