Odd Future front man Tyler, The Creator is trying to revive the outdated “music television” era for the internet. Along with other celebrities like Howard Stern and the Kardashians, Tyler has joined Whalerock Industries, a Santa Monica based production company. Recently, he spoke about it at the Code/Media Conference in Las Vegas and seemed excited.
Tyler claims that he wants to make his own version of MTV and Cartoon Network and has hopes that his new freedom of creativity will draw subscribers.
“I wanted to do something cool. It’s always about me doing something that I think is awesome.” says Tyler.
