After returning back to Atlanta from a headlining tour, Rich Homie Quan sits down for an interview with Hot 107.9. During the interview, Quan mentioned that he will be stepping away from his Rich Gang duties and start focusing more on solo music.
“I have been focusing more on myself, I’ve stepped away from Rich Gang a bit just to get back to Quan. The people want Quan back” he says to the Durtty Boyz. “It’s cool for the moment.”
Do you think the fact that Birdman’s receiving so much negative media coverage as it relates to his business dealing with past and present artists had anything to do with his decision? Rich Gang is the first compilation album by Young Money and Cash Money as the supergroup Rich Gang.
“It’s been so long since I dropped a mixtape…it’s time for Atlanta and the world to know that Quan has improved and it’s a new sound here. This new sound honestly, I feel as if I had me a Grammy bro,” Rich Homie Quan continued to say on-air. It sounds like we can expect a free album from him shortly.
