Baton Rougue, La rapper Lil’ Boosie went live on his instagram page ranting about how he felt about some of the lyrics on Jay Z newest album 4:44. Boosie took offense to the lyric in the song Story of O.J. when Jay Z said “Ya’ll on the Gram holdin’ money to your ear/There’s a disconnect, we don’t call that money over here”
Boosie stated that he has fans reach out to him in his DM telling him “not to take pictures of him holding stacks of money to his ear because Jay Z said Don’t do that.” The problem is that in the south hustlers like to show the world what they got-when they get it according to Boosie.
“In Louisiana, his words don’t fly”, said Boosie. “Jay Z don’t tell me what to do.”
Boosie made sure to make it known that he had no beef with Jay Z and that he would love to work with him in the future. “But your words don’t move me, homie” he states. Boosie ended after receiving call from his record label while recording telling him not to say too much on Instagram Live.
