Multi-platinum recording artist and author Jhene Aiko held a book signing for “2Fish” (a poetry book) as a part of her book tour at Barnes & Noble in Los Angeles. Over 200 supporters lined up at the bookstore to purchase “2Fish” and got the opportunity to take pictures and get their book signed by Jhene.
Fans of “2Fish” gathered on the third floor of Barnes & Noble and participated in a discussion and Q+A segment with Jhene where she went in depth about this passion project and shared some of her favorite selections. “2Fish” marks the third installment of Jhene’s M.A.P. (Movie, Album, Poetry) mission where she presents an intimate portrait of herself as Penny using excerpts from poems, sketches, and journals she began writing at the age of 12.
This is the second book signing the author held in her hometown, following a social media driven, invitation-only pop-up back in December. Last night’s signing marks the first stop of Jhene’s international book tour happening in 2018.
