Yesterday, City of Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and Rap superstar and entrepreneur Jeezy joined 60,000 runners and walkers for the largest 10K in the world, the 49th annual AJC Peachtree Road Race. Jeezy ran with Mayor Bottoms to raise money for youth via his Street Dreamz Foundation, the Mayor’s Youth Scholarship Program and Atlanta Track Club’s Kilometer Kids program. This was Jeezy’s first 10K race. Running, which is a stress reliever for Jeezy, finished the race in an hour. Afterwards, he took pictures with fans who cheered the rapper as he crossed the finished line.
