Drake surprised fans with a new 17-track compilation album called Care Package on Friday, August 2.

The Canadian rapper most recently dropped Omertà and Money in the Grave which features Rick Ross.

He announced the project via Instagram on Thursday afternoon stating that the album would include some of his songs which were never officially released.

“Available Friday on all platforms,” he said. “Some of our most important moments together available in one place. Care package.????”

While the album does not offer anything new, it does feature fan favorites such as Trust Issues, 4pm In Calabasas, Girls Love Beyoncé, and How Bout Now. All of the songs on Care Package never made an appearance on an official LP, but were available through YouTube and Soundcloud.

Fans were quick to express their gratitude through social media.

“Drake Care Package dropping tomorrow ????????.. No more searching YouTube YouTube my some of favorite joints,” one fan said, while another stated “Drake ‘Care Package’ is exactly what I’ve been needing for some years now wtf. I was tired of going to YouTube.”

Additionally, the album was released under the OVO banner. Drake’s most recent The Best in the World Pack release was dropped under Frozen Moments, LLC., according to Complex. Neither of those names are the usual Young money/Cash Money which Drake normally releases his music under.

Following the release of Care Package, Drake is now preparing to drop his highly anticipated follow-up to his 2018 album, Scorpion.
