The iconic sportswear brand, FUBU, has teamed up with ONE Musicfest, the Southeast’s premier urban progressive music and arts festival, to create limited edition merchandise for the 10th annual festival which will take place on Sept. 7-8 at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Georgia.

The ONE Musicfest x For Us By Us partnership will consists of t-shirts and hats which will be available for purchase during the performances, according to a press release from the festival. It aims to reflect ONE’s philosophy of cultural pride and economic empowerment, which are key elements that have historically set the event apart from other music festivals.

FUBU’s founder and CEO, Daymond John, said FUBU was made specifically for people such as the ones who attend this music festival.

“When we started the FUBU brand 27 years ago, our immediate goal was to fill a need and represent urban culture in the apparel industry,” John said. “We saw people that looked like us spend money on brands that did not care to understand the nuances of our culture. ‘For Us, By Us’ was about the empowerment and celebration of Urban culture. Therefore, and in that same spirit, it is only right that we partner with ONE MusicFest, whose goal is also to create spaces for the most amazing people on this planet to be recognized.”

Additionally, Jason Carter, founder of ONE Musicfest, said FUBU aligns perfectly with the festival’s culture and ultimate goals.

“ONE Musicfest has always been about bringing the best of urban culture together,” Carter said. “FUBU is a staple of our culture and represents everything we believe in – excellence, innovation, and authenticity. Like FUBU, ONE Musicfest was created for the consumer by the consumer. We’re honored to work with them for this year’s milestone festival.”

The festival is set to have an amazing line-up, as stars such as Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Wu-Tang Clan, Rae Sremmurd, Tory Lanez, DMX, Teyana Taylor, Three 6 Mafia, Usher, Pharrell Williams, T-Pain, Trick Daddy, and many more are expected to perform.
