Prodigy
Last week, Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco caused a frenzy when he stated in an interview with CBS that President Barack Obama is the “the biggest terrorist.” A few days later, in another interview with Billboard.com he made it very clear that he meant what he said stating, “I have nothing to clarify.” Well it seems that Lupe is not the only rapper who feels this way. Mobb Deep’s Prodigy shares similar views.
In an interview with HipHopDX, Prodigy says he shares Lupe’s opinions. “I would have to agree with him,” he said. “Most of these politicians and these government officials…most of them are the real terrorists.”
Prodigy has been known in the past for making references to the government and conspiracy theories in many of his lyrics.
He explains that even though he was locked up he still followed the election process of president Obama. “Yeah, I was definitely checking out and seeing what he was doing and what he was about. But I already knew ahead of time – I’ve been studying all that type of stuff since like 15, 16 years old, so… You can’t pull the wool over my eyes. I already know what time it is.”
“There’s nothing you can say to confuse me about any of that type of stuff, “he continued. “I know it’s all a game that they’re playing. It’s all a façade.”
He is currently working on an autobiography entitled “My Infamous Life” along with three other books.
