Breaking News Update: Easter Sunday Massacre Suspect Steve Stephens Press Conference

The man believed to be responsible for over 14 murders (police have not been able to ascertain if he has killed multiple people yet) in Cleveland on Easter Sunday has yet to be caught however local law enforcement has provided an update on Steve Stephens murder crime spree.

Meanwhile, the girlfriend who is said to have sent Stephens over the edge has spoken to the media and stated that she is sorry for the death of Robert Godwin Sr. however her compassion was also extended to Godwin’s killer. Saying he too is a good person.

Joy Lane has spoken to the national news media via text message and to her friends on Facebook. She’s the woman whose name Stephens made his victim, Robert Godwin Sr., say in the Facebook Live stream before he allegedly killed the man, who had just returned from Easter dinner with his children.

According to CBS News, he randomly approach the victim, Godwin, “to say a woman’s name and pulls out his gun. The elderly man repeatedly tells the suspect he doesn’t know the woman… but the suspect pulls the trigger, shooting the man in the head, leaving him bloodied in the street.” The woman whose name Stephens ordered the victim to say is Lane. It was all captured in the horrific Facebook Live stream, which has now been taken down.

“Find me somebody I’m about to kill, I’m gonna kill this guy right here,” Stephens says on the video as he gets out of his car and looks for someone to kill. “The older dude.” He walks up to Godwin and asks him to “do me a favor” by saying “Joy Lane.” Stephens adds, “Joy Lane—she’s the reason this is about to happen to you.” Then, he kills Godwin, a stranger to him.

We have made the decision to not show the video of this horrific murder nor will we show any videos of Steve Stephens who committed this cowardly act.

We will be updating this story as new develops are learned.

President Obama Not Up To Speed With The IPhone!

On Sunday President Obama seemed to have some difficulty dialing a phone number on the iphone, while visiting a campaign office in Port St. Lucie Florida.

According to the NY Times, Mr. Obama was supposed to call two campaign workers to thank them who were working on his behalf.

Mr. Obama made an attempt to use the iphone of White House trip director Marvin Nicholson but he just could not.

“Oh, I got to dial it. Hold on, hold on. I can do this. See I still have a Blackberry,” the President said jokingly according to the pool report from Politico Journalists Reid Epstein.

The President went on to say ” I just want to point out, this volunteering is not easy as it looks,” Obama said “I’m not the only one”

Once the call finally went through the volunteer identified as Barney in the pool report couldn’t believe he was actually talking to the President.

“You don’t believe me, do you” said Obama. “It’s true, it’s me.”

Four Americans Dead: Obama Speaks On The Attack In Benghazi, Libya

On Tuesday, the lives of four Americans were taken after an attack on the U.S diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya.

Ambassador Chris Stevens and Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith, were among those that were killed.

In a statement from the Rose Garden, President Obama called the attack “outrageous and shocking.”

According to Whitehouse.gov the President continued to say:

“We’re working with the government of Libya to secure our diplomats,” he said. “I’ve also directed my Administration to increase our security at diplomatic posts around the world. And make no mistake, we will work with the Libyan government to bring to justice the killers who attacked our people.”

On this track Gucci linked up with Brick Squad members Waka Flocka and Young Scooter for the very boastful track “Rollies Up.”

There isn’t much to the video besides the rappers sitting at a table playing cards, counting money, and showing off the Rolex watches on their wrists.

Seems like Gucci is making sure to let everyone know just how well he is doing financially despite him having to pay a woman nearly $60,000 for pushing her out of his moving Hummer back in 2011.

The woman sued the rapper for damages following the incident claiming mental anguish, pain and emotional distress.

At least Gucci is still holding his Rollies up. Check out the video.

Breaking: Georgia Man Goes Insane and Kills Girlfriend, Wife, & Child Plus HHE Exclusive Crime Scene Photos & Witness Interview

An Atlanta, Georgia man was accused of mudering three people including his wife and her 12-year-old daughter. According to Atlanta Police they suspect Joseph Leonardo Smith, 32, killed a woman at Wellesley Inn on Virginia Avenue.

While Atlanta Police Swat team were at the home of the accused attempting to get him to surrender, East Point Police discovered the body of Lovett Wallace at the Wellesley Inn, which police believed was connected to the crime spree. Sources have told the authorities that they believe the strangled and deceased woman found in the hotel room was a mistress of Smith.

Smith eventually turned himself in, when police then found the bodies of Shatikey Griffin, 34, and her daughter Demiya Griffin, 12, inside the home.

Police were successful in convincing Smith to surrender

After Smith suspected of killing the two women in the home, he called Ashley Jackson, 29 the mother of his 14-year-old daughter, in a desperate plea to see his daughter before he turned himself in.

According to Jackson he said “He had messed up. He said he did some crazy stuff,” “And he wanted to see his daughter before he went to prison.”

For the death of his wife and step daughter, Smith is charged with two counts of felony murder, aggravated assult rape, and false imprisonment.

Also, in the death of his mistress, Smith will be charged with muder and aggravated assult.

The principal of KIPP Ways Academy, the school Demiya Griffin attended released a statement:

“This is a tragic loss to the KIPP WAYS Academy Team & Family,” said KIPP WAYS Academy principal Dwight Ho-Sang. “Demiya was an incredibly sweet young girl who consistently demonstrated the school’s values and was a great teammate. As an honor roll student who loved theater, Demiya had a very bright future ahead of her. We will miss her warm smile and bubbly personality.”

The school has made plans to hold a vigil Monday evening. What lead to these murders are still unclear.

Three of the orginial members of The Hot Boyz Juvenile, Lil Wayne, and Birdman, come together on Juvenile’s new track “Picture Perfect“.

This is the first track in over a decade, that Weezy and Juvy collaborated on.

“Juvenile I’m throwback/like 80 something I go back/dem brown bags I sold that/them street corners I know that/appetite, I’m so hungry/democratic, go donkey,” raps Juvenile.

“I’m picture perfect/I paint a perfect picture/I’m spooning with yo bitch/and make you do the dirty dishes/ man I hate them thirsty bitches, cut’em off like circumcision/I’m the type to talk shit, and it be words of wisdom,” raps Lil Wayne.

As of now Juvenile is with Univeral, but maybe there are talks between him and the CEO of YMCMB to join the team.

Lil Wayne aka @LilTunechi Opens Skate Park In New Orleans (Video Inside)

Besides having a successful music career, Lil Wayne wants to have a successful skateboarding career as well.

Wednesday Weezy opened up his own skateboarding park, “Trukstop” in his hometown, of New Orleans.

The park is located in the 9^th Ward section of New Orleans, which is left to be one of the most devastated sections in the city after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

According to the Associated Press Weezy’s newfound interest in skateboarding was introduced to us about a year and a half ago.

To go along with his passion of skateboarding, Lil Wayne recently launched his skateboarding inspired clothing line “Trukfit.” You can always catch Weezy rocking that skateboard attire.

“I thought it would be just a hobby, and I thought only people with skills can do it,” he said. “When you finally get into it and you learn to like it, you’ll quickly learn to love it. It’s more than just four wheels and a piece of wood.”

According to Foxnews, The new park occupies a building that survived the 2005 flooding. It was built using recycled materials, it will be run using solar energy and includes all the features skaters love stairs with rails for sliding, skating embankments and half pipes.

“I just want to help out my city, help out the people and the kids, give them something to do, something they haven’t done before,” he said. “It’s always good to learn something new.” said Wayne.

Lil Wayne partnered up with Mountain Dew and Glu Agency, a New York-based advertising firm, to launch the new park. The park is set to be open to the public seven days a week.

In the video entitled “The Real Chris Brown,” Chris opens up about his current situation involving the two women in his life who he loves deeply.

The video captures footage of Chris Brown sitting in the back of a car after a night of partying. He starts off the video by saying he had fun at the club, and is a little dunk and wants to give us the real Chris Brown, since we don’t get to really see the “real Chris Brown”

Chris then goes on to say “when you share a history with somebody, then you tend to fall in love with somebody else, its kind of difficult.”

He questions if there is such a thing as loving two people at the same time, and he doesn’t want to hurt either of them. The video flashes images of Chris Brown with both Rihanna and Karrueche.

Chris ends the video by saying he’s not trying to be a dog, or a player. His situation is just stressful because of the love he has for both women.

The video captures footage of both Rick Ross and T.I back in the hood, showing the life they once came from. They came from a life of running the streets, getting caught up in all the wrong things, preparing themselves for the possibility of death.

Some of the lyrics from Rick Ross says:

Rihanna and Chris Brown are no longer trying to hide anything as they continue to make more public appearances together. Both RiRi and Chris were photoed getting cozy at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the Jay-Z Concert.

In one photo you see Chris with his arm around the back of Rihanna’s chair.

The day before, there were reports all over the internet that Rihanna and Chris Brown were spotted at a NYC nightclub. According to a number of reports Rihanna was seen going to the bathroom, shortly after Chris followed her where they reportedly stayed for about 20 minutes.

With all of this going on where is Chris Brown’s girlfriend Karrueche Tran? Well it appears she has now come to her senses according to her tweets and moved on.

Could Karrueche Tran really be done with Chris Brown? At this point it looks like she has no choice. Chris Brown has officially released a statement addressing the rumors of him and Karrueche’s relationship.

“I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. “I’d rather be single allowing us to be both be happy in our lives.”

Rihanna is probably one happy camper right now. I’m sure we will be seeing a lot more of Chris and RiRi out and about. As for Karrueche, not sure if we should feel sorry for her. She should have seen this coming a mile away. Karrueche should’ve dismissed Breezy when she had the chance.

For its third televised event, BET Networks presents “Shine the Spotlight on Black Girls Who Rock.” This year’s honorees include: Dionne Warwick, Kerry Washington, Susan Taylor, Alicia Keys, and Dr. Hawa Abdi.

The dynamic duo of Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King are returning to co-host this year’s award show.

The two-hour event will feature performances and appearances by Alicia Keys, Brandy, India Arie, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Taraji P. Henson and more.

“We’re thrilled to once again partner with Beverly Bond and her fantastic organization to bring to the screen the 2012 edition of BLACK GIRLS ROCK! There is also a smaller version to the bag, which might be more convenient for most women.

The campaign video includes many female celebrities, such as Sheryl Crow, Eva Longoria, Olivia Wilde, Ashley Judd, Julianne Moore, Kerry Washington and Jane Lynch.The women in the video show their passion for President Barack Obama’s reelection.

“It’s not just about supporting the President because I want to see him reelected,” says Beyonce. “I’m standing up for the future of my daughter, the future that I want her to see.”

Beyonce adds, “He also has the story that I can tell my daughter, because it shows that no matter where you start out, you can work hard and you can do whatever you put your mind to.”

Jennifer Lopes insisted on “women will help decide this election.” She goes on to say, “I grew up with a strong, hard working mom and dad and two brilliant sisters. I learned that from an early age that when women come together, there’s nothing that we can’t do.”

During the American Idol auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey we going at it in a heated argument. The argument between both judges caused producers to stop taping for the day, so both judges could have some time to cool down.

TMZ obtained footage, of Nicki furious with Mariah shouting “I told them I’m not f*ckin putting up with her f*ckin highness over there.”

The argument took place at the judge’s table, with Keith Urban sitting in between them and Randy Jackson sitting on the far end next to Mariah.

Things got heated when the judges had a disagreement over a contestant’s performance.

The audio from the video isn’t that clear, but TMZ was able to break down what Nicki was saying:

Nicki Get this s**t in self control. Get in control. Get in control.

Randy Settle down, settle down

Nicki Don’t lose your head. Don’t lose your head (inaudible). Don’t tell me I’m a gangster.

Nicki (inaudible) every 5 minutes. So every time you patronize me, I’m-ma take it back, and if you’ve got a f**king problem, handle it.

Nicki I told them I’m not f**kin’ putting up with her f**king highness over there. Figure it the f**k out. Figure it out.

Nicki I’m not gonna sit here every f**king minute to have you come down and harass me every minute everyday.

Mariah is talking back to Nicki but it’s hard to make out exactly what she’s saying.

With Mariah Carey’s diva-ish ways and Nicki’s combative attitude, things could get really intense on the set of American Idol. This is only the beginning for the two stars. They have a long run ahead of them.

Rapper Bow Wow Failed to Disclose New Gig @Bet to Judge and May Be Held in Contempt of Court (video inside)

According to TMZ, Bow Wow and the mother of his child, Joie Chavis were in court Monday, fighting over how much Bow Wow is worth and how much he has to pay in child support.

During the hearing, Bow Wow informed the judge that he only makes $4,000 a month while working at Cash Money Records. He also stated that he leases a jeep, and only has $1,500 in his checking account. Doesn’t sound like the type of artist that Cash Money Boss Baby would have in his company.

Bow Wow has been ordered to pay child support for his 1-year-old daughter Shai, which he voluntarily agreed to dish out $3,000 a month for his baby.

According to Bow Wow he only makes $4,000 a month so how can he possibly afford to pay $3,000 a month in child support? That will leave the rapper with only $1,000 before taxes every month.

Bow Wow reportedly failed to mention in court that he just landed a deal with BET as the new host of 106 & Park. This news broke after Bow Wow had his court hearing. More than likely Bow Wow knew of this deal prior to the hearing. While everyone knows BET doesn’t pay their employees much and most sign on with hopes of reaching star status or in Bow Wow’s case to regain his status, chances are that he was only promised peanuts to do the gig.

The rapper is due back in court in December for the rules on a permanent child support order. Now that the judge has learned about his new gig at BET, this will certainly affect how much money he will have to pay every month. Mother Charged In The Death Of Her 4-Year-Old Son (Video Inside)

A woman from Mamaroneck Village in Westchester County, NY is charged in the death of her four year old son.

The woman identified as Manuela Maria Morgado, 46 was found in a semiconscious state when police arrived at the home responding to a 911 call from a family member.

Morgado reportedly asphyxiated her son. Four-year-old Jason’s Reish’s body was found in the bedroom of the home.

The mother was reportedly involved in a heated custody battle with the boy’s father, while leaving a suicide note at the scene.

A neighbor told ABC News what he thought of Morgado.

“She just seemed to be a terrific, very upbeat person,” neighbor Andrew Landau said. “Always with the son. The dozen conversations I had with her were absolutely terrific. Nothing that would give you any sense that something like this would happen.”

Morgado was taken to Mamaroneck Village Court on a second-degree murder charge.

According to The Village of Mamaroneck Police 46 year old Morgado was taken to the hospital for an evaluation, and is due back in court Oct. 4^th, 2012.

Stalley, Rick Ross and Nipsey Hussle headed to the West Coast to capture footage for their “Fountain of Youth” collaboration, which is taken from the Self Made Vol. 2 album. A lot of the footage was captured in front of a liquor store, which gives off that hardcore street vibe. The video sends a message to those trying to make it out the hood, that it is possible.

The Show Must Go On As @KMichelle Gets Ousted From Live Tampa Performance Appearance

In life some people feel a sense of entitlement when they have not even earned the respect of their peers or garnered enough credibility to call any shots. Apparently Love And Hip Hop Star K. Michelle has rubbed one of her peers the wrong way at a recent scheduled performance at a venue in the Tampa area. K. Michelle was scheduled to perform on the same ticket along with Atlantic Records recording artist Musiq Soulchild and veteran crooner Lyfe Jennings.

Proper protocol dictates that the least recognizable artist on a performance bill usually starts first followed by the next hottest act whose body of work commands them to proceed the less popular act. Apparently K. Michelle was not aware of this process which is music 101 for any artist planning on performing at live shows along with other acts.

According to credible sources, Michelle didn’t feel she should perform before singer Life Jennings and as a result she didn’t get to perform at all.

Here is what is being reported on Necolebitchie.com:

I am angry at Kimberly Michelle Pate (K Michelle). She was scheduled to perform in my hometown Tampa, Florida along with Musiq Soulchild and Lyfe Jennings. In the promoters (Vybenation) contract she was to perform before Lyfe, but in her mind she felt as though she’s a “BIGGER” artist than him. So she threw a Diana Ross diva tantrum. Not only did she NOT perform and let her fans down, she blocked literally half of Tampa on twitter. K also said that she only perform for sold out shows. She went on to say that the promoters didn’t do they’re job, which isn’t true. She got paid $5000. Now my city is yelling #WHOISKMICHELLE.

Once Lyfe Jennings learned what happened he took to his twitter and tweeted:

“This @kmichelle is so funny. She don’t wanna go on before me???? Before Lyfe??? It’s cool I wish u the best love… We kilt it!!!”

“Shout out to @musicsoulchild for being a hell of a performer AND a hell of a individual…i’m a fan of the real…period.”

K. Michelle also tweeted:

“I’ve never missed a show a day in my life. I would never stand my fans up period. I was told no by the promoters, he didn’t like my request.”

So lets try to make sense of this. K. Michelle doesn’t perform for fans in Tampa, because she doesn’t like where she was placed in the show? She can’t go on stage to perform before Lyfe Jennings?? She makes a request to have her placement changed, gets denied, and then doesn’t perform at all? Hmm I guess being a VH1 reality star can really turn you into a diva.

While partying at one of ATL’s top strip clubs “Diamonds of Atlanta” Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Ray J, dropped $50,000 on the ladies. According to TMZ, Mayweather carried his bundle of money in a Louis Vuitton bag while they made it rain all night.

Ray J and Mayweather definitely paid some bills, maybe even some tuition that night.

Cross-Dressed Robbers, Rob A Pawn Shop In Marietta, GA (Video Inside)

Cross-dressed robbers caught on camera in Marietta, GA. Surveillance video shows what appeared to be two women walking inside the pawn shop. The two women then tied up the owner and robbed him.

After police watched the video they then learned the video was deceptive. The two people in the video were not women, they were men dressed as women.

According to Marietta police officer David Baldwin “Both of them had sunglasses and were carrying large purses. One of the suspects pulled a gun out of a yellow purse. “They chased the employee into the back, where they eventually tied him up with duct tape and then robbed him of a bunch of money and jewelry.”

The pawn shop owner told 11Alive News the suspect carrying the yellow purse liked a ring in the display cabinet. He said he told the suspect he would have to pay for the ring and come back tomorrow to pick it up. When he reached in his purse he pulled out the gun.

The suspects got into two safes and took approximately $7,000. They also took $25,000 in jewelry according to the police report.

One of the suspects was wearing a black jacket; a woman’s flower patterned top, white pants and was carrying a yellow purse. The other suspect wore a red sweatshirt with three stripes down the arms, an Atlanta Braves cap, purple pants and he was carrying a red purse.

Police released video of this bizarre robbery.

Yesterday at the ~~EBT~~ Bet Hip Hop Awards rappers Young Jeezy and Rick Ross reportedly got into a physical altercation back stage. According to TMZ sources, Ross and Jeezy exchanged words, which led to a pushing and shoving match. BET security and the security of both rappers eventually stepped in and were able to separate the two.

As the altercation took place, Radio DJ Funk Master Flex from Hot 97 in NY tweeted what was going on:

According to reliable sources, the drama continued in the Atlantic Civic Center parking lot, where shots were reportedly fired by members of the rappers’ entourage. One witness on the scene was visibly shaken up and stated “I just came to see a good show but to witness such violence at an award show is just sad. You would think Bet Security would have checked these guys for weapons before allowing them to enter the show”

A spokesperson for the Atlanta Police Department told TMZ:

“Shortly after 7:15 pm Saturday, a fight broke out in the parking lot at the Atlanta Civic Center (where the BET Awards were being taped) between two groups. Atlanta Police Department officers on scene responded to break up the fight and used OC spray in the process.”

Ross and Jeezy were once collaborators, but have been involved in a feud for the past couple of years.

After the Chris Lighty tribute was completed, the show’s host Mike Epps came out and greeted the crowd and said the show was over. Another witness told HHE that: We can’t believe they only handed out five awards with all those categories nominated, I probably wont be attending anymore of these type of shows and it is not a good representation of our city”

DJ Drama went on the radio in Atlanta after the awards to give his report on what went down. Apparently he saw the whole thing.

According to TMZ sources 50 Cent and rapper Gunplay got into it also. Its also been reported that Gunplay got into it with members from 50cents camp. Its unclear whether 50cent himself got into it with Gunplay. According to witnesses at the scene, Gunplay was seen with visible wounds.

The witness at the scene was able to pull out their camera and video taped Gunplay getting jumped in the parking lot by five members of 50cents entourage.

Rapper Machine Gun Kelly sent out a tweet:

It hasn’t been confirmed if he was involved in either of the altercations or was just a innocent bystander, but he surely got maced in any event.

A BET rep tells TMZ: “BET Networks works very hard to bring the best in entertainment to the city of Atlanta. For the past 7 years BET has celebrated the true art form of Hip Hop. Due to some misjudgment of select attendees, it is unfortunate that certain incidents took place. BET Networks does not condone any type of violence.”

While we understand BET’s publicity team has to release a statement addressing the issue, over the last couple of years we have witnessed a steady deterioration of the professionalism that exists within their organization.

Every year at the BET Hip Hop Awards you can expect some type of violence. None of this madness seems to ever go on at other shows like the MTV or Grammy Awards thus BET must clean up their act if they expect to be taken seriously by their viewers.

The BET Network is often heavily criticized not only for the content shown on their channels but its inaccurate depiction of Afro-Americans through its programming . What went down last night will certainly give BET another strike against them for being one of the most “ghetto style” networks that represent people of color.

Hopefully the people involved will find a common place to resolve their differences amicably.

Yesterday Chris Brown released the video for his latest single “Don’t Judge Me”.

In the video Chris is shown walking through what appears to be the desert, and sitting in front a couch with a woman sleeping on it behind him. As the video continues he goes to a military base, which prepares him for a mission described as “suicide.”

Chris is on some sort of mission “for his country and his planet.” He then hops into a space shuttle that then leads him toward a massive alien ship that is very close to earth.

He begins to cry and destroys the ship by crashing into it. He leaves behind the woman on the couch that could be seen as a symbol for his ex Rihanna, as the song asks for forgiveness for his past indiscretions.

Jay-Z Introduces New 40/40 Club Inside Brooklyn’s Barclays Center (Video Inside)

With the opening of Brooklyn’s new stadium “Barclays Center,” Jay-Z also opened the doors to his new 40/40 club inside the stadium. This will be Hov’s third location for the popular sports nightclub. The 40/40 is also located in New York City, and Atlantic City.

In an interview with MTV News Jay-Z spoke on the opening of Brooklyn’s new stadium.

“I walked around here earlier and I just seen everybody busy and at work trying to finish up and it was a great feeling,” Jay-Z told gathering press as he entered the 40/40 for its grand opening. “A guy stopped me in the hallway and said, ‘Man this is a great thing for New York City.’ And that’s what the whole thing was about.”

Among some of the attendees were Rihanna, J. Cole, Lyor Cohen and Hov’s close friends and family. They all attended the first party at the 40/40 club. The opening of the club came just a night before Hov will perform at the Barclays with a highly anticipated performance going down tonight.

One Door Closes And Another Opens for Music Mogul Lyor Cohen (Video Inside)

Lyor Cohen, the chairman and CEO of Warner Music Group resigned on Monday leaving a mystery as to where he would be headed next. Cohen stated he would stay through the end of September.

According to a source close to Cohen the 52-year-old music mogul, has been secretly developing a talent management company for the past two years while working at Warner. Now he has “decided the time is right to move forward,” the source says.

In a memo to his staff Cohen said “As WMG enters its next chapter, I’m ready to begin mine,” He went on to say “I can’t yet announce what I’ll be doing next; I can only say that it will be something where I can work my entrepreneurial muscles and partner with artists.”

According to the source, Cohen only refers to his new business by a “nonsensical” code name through emails and phone calls.

Many support Cohen’s new business move including a Warner Music insider who said, “He’s never been a corporate guy and his role here was becoming more and more corporate.”

At a press conference earlier this year Lyor Cohen gave insight on the music industry, calling out a few artists who are doing their thing in the game.
