Private Hemp Dinners Are A “Thing” in Georgia

Hemp, THC or “weed” as the urban culture calls it has recently been passed in Georgia medical for purposes, but that doesn’t stop Atlanta natives from recreational usage and tapping into communities who are creatively engaged in the herb.

With the ticket requiring an access code and a text stating “You’re invited” or Eventbrite link shown at the door, Lyric The Nudist made sure to keep the doors closed for the private event.

“Basically I wanted to bring people together who couldn’t enjoy prom but also never had cannibus food either.” Says the young curator of Hemp House ATL. “And bring them all together where we can dress up for no reason and smoke.

Chef Tiffany from Nashville, TN made a 3 course infused meal starting off with an appetizer of stuffed collards with beef and rice. The dinner (well breakfast course I should say) consisted of chicken and waffles with THC also dazzled in the syrup. To top of the final course, guests enjoyed a weed brownie.

Jumbo Jenga, giant swing sets, and cocktail dresses. Doesn’t sound like your average dinner, but the acts of Boddy Riddums, an Afro-Caribbean fusion of dance, with sultry style poetry and a mesh of live body painting from Phat Pussy Energy. Followed by the premiere talents of King Soulift, John Croslan, Some Guy Named Lee, And Kshon featuring her live guitarist.

Feasting in stoner delights following a panel hosted by the female faces of media of ATL’s underground scene, guests had a chance to reminisce on the legacy of the late Nipsey Hustle.

“He gives a lot of hope to people who don’t understand where they wanna be in life.” Luci, media correspondent of Next Up Online says, “I feel for the young black people he was a huge role model because people could see that he was still thugging obviously but he was powerful and was an intellect.”

Cam Bells Emerges His Family’s Southern Roots into Rhode Island’s Culture

It’s not too often you hear about artists from Rhode Island, the smallest state in the United States. Khary, a notable name that has Providence (Rhode Island’s capital) on his back has set the tone for more artists to believe they can make it outside of the Ocean State.

Cam Bells, the “Prince of PVD” is using his family’s historical roots to provide a staple for R&B in his hometown. The 29-year-old native is looking to reiterate his southern roots full of soul and groove from his grandmother and father, who were all influenced by the Civil Rights movements, into Providence’s culture. His father, Roosevelt B. Bentley was an activist in the community and for board of education. Cam takes us by Bells Benton Drive in the vlog to highlight his father’s legacy. His uncle was also a member of a male band called the Benton Brothers. The independent artist remembers his first love for music and performing dating back to the mid 90’s when he’d go with his uncle to rehearsal.

Cam is also a member of Stay Silent (@staysilentpvd) an event production company created by his friends based in Providence. Stay Silent is responsible for one of the largest summer festivals held both in June and August called “Day Trill” which Cam displays a recap of in his “Timing” video.

Timing is the leave single of off the album C.B.P.V.D. which just released Feb 18th. In the debut, Cam mixes a bit of hip-hop’s 808s and flavor into his R&B which still technically wouldn’t put it into the sub-genre of “Trap-R&B.” The feels of the project are synonymous to the flow of he curates during his live R&B night we stopped by in the vlog.

Interview: Rapper Big40 Drops “Motivation” Video While Dealing with The Loss of His Mother

Meet Curtis Jones, professionally known as “Big40.” When the phone conversation first started, I was thinking he’s going to reminisce on a situation involving a large, 40oz of booze but the 17-year-old break-out star isn’t hipped to inebriation just yet. The Cleveland native raps about his experiences in the rough areas of his neighborhood. He references himself to be a sponge with a lot going on around him, as a typical kid, it caused him to pick up on everything happening. Everyone has their vices, some people may be using smoking or even binge eating as an escape but Big40 uses music to mask his reality.

The World Star Hip Hop premiered single “Motivation” is dedicated to his mom, Chavon Smith, whom he wants to make proud while she’s looking down on him from Heaven.

“I was gone buy you a crib in Jamaica, I was gone buy you a foreign from Jamaica…Mama baby I told you we gone get it. Told my brothers we gone make it I ain’t trippin,” as the hook quotes in the single.

Big40 knows all to well how adversity can be a lightning rod for change as he has suffered major losses in the past with the passing of his father as a result of suicide in 2011 and then 5 years later his mother was murdered as a result of a failed armed robbery while he was working in a recording studio. The determined lyricist used these tragedies to write music that addressed the things he has dealt with.

He’s set to perform alongside Kash Doll on June 2nd at Medusa’s Restaurant and Lounge in Cleveland. Lil Baby, Gunna, and Lucci are just a few of the big names he hopes to work with during his journey. Southside 808 is one of the few producers we can expect him to work with.

The aspiring 17-year old recently signed with White Boy Entertainment, an independent label also in Cleveland which is headed by former rap star H-Flo who signed to Philthy Rich Records which is owned by boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather. Flo knew off the rip that Big40 possessed the star-power for success.

Big40 acknowledges that he writes the lyrics to his own chapters as he continues to turn the pages of his life. His studio sessions are usually conducted with a producer throwing on a beat and his pen moving from there. He wasn’t afraid to admit that he’s still learning his sound and his voice. He understands success doesn’t come overnight and is willing to put in the hard work to reach new plateaus in his career.

The “Motivation” rapper is looking forward to the different phases of life post-adolescence, acknowledging to not having experienced real life. Until then, he mentions having listeners lit in the club, motivated to grind, and a little in their feelings. Cleveland has shaped the story but the youngster describes the sound to be mixed with an Atlanta sound and a bit of Miami bounce to it which makes his sound different.

Is Damar Jackson The New Face of R & B Music?

Coming home from the Ray Ray From Summerhill Tour with YFN Lucci, Damar Jackson and other faces of the industry sonically considers the Louisiana native the new face of R&B. Producing much of his original passion-filled sound, his 2018 project Unfaithful (Deluxe) features the likings of Yo Gotti, Kash Doll, Gucci Mane, Money Bagg Yo, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

As much of today’s R&B is composed of auto-tuned and slurred lyrics, Damar highlights the story telling of past relationships. The opening track Ritenow describes his feelings in a situation with an ex-girlfriend who moved on and encountered new relations with another guy.

“Girl why the hell you runnin’ off tellin’ with my pussy?
It ain’t my place to even ask but who the hell you screwin’?
And if the nigga in the city I’ma fuckin’ lose it
I ain’t no killer girl but please don’t make me fuckin’ do it
‘Cause I be thinkin’ too much when I’m in the sky
Is she really getting fucked by another guy?
Yeah we broke up but that body’s still mines.”

The project’s 8th track “Crazy,” which has been making its rounds on the internet since the original release of Unfaithful in 2017 continues the emotions of being addicted and irresistible when it comes to her loving.

“Girl you crazy
But goddamn it, that pussy amazing
And I can’t stop fucking with you (yeah yeah yeah)
And I can’t stop fucking with you (you)”

In a recent interview, Damar Jackson explains being the lover, however there are certain things he will not tolerate in relationships. Being overly annoying and “nagging” (which a few of us women beg to differ) are a couple of turn offs in his attraction to women. Interview: Xscape’s Tamika Scott Passes The Game Down to Daughter Young Niyah

“You gone listen to me, right? Then you gone turn up, and then I’ma switch it, then I’m make you cry, then I’ma make you laugh,” says Young Niyah. There’s no denying that music is in her veins. Daughter of R&B songstress Tamika Scott of the 90’s group Xscape, Young Niyah is full of passion and animation. The 18 year-old star is not only invested in her music, but also in the business aspect of entertainment, Scott mentions in an exclusive interview with Hip Hop Enquirer announcing that she’s proud of her daughter for owning stock in their company Brolic Entertainment.

Her single Hit Em with the quotable hook “Say they, coming through to the south, so baby what it do with that mouth.” Young Niyah stamps her household name as “Princess of the South.”Nonetheless, the line “what it do with that mouth” isn’t referring to anything sexual. The Atlanta-bred adolescent elaborates on the hook’s meaning of haters always having something to say. Prematurely, being in the music scene since exiting the womb, Young Niyah has participated in acting classes and has also been involved in writing & music production. Much of her inspiration comes from her mother which she closely resembles (however they both beg to differ) and she also mentions Lauren Hill as an artist she listened to in her younger years. We asked Miss. Scott about allowing her daughter to tour by herself as an adult and she is at the least of worries. Young Niyah’s focus is her pen & her pad. We won’t expect her to wild out like a lot of young adults who grew up in the music industry. She’ll be “hitting” all her haters but she won’t be “hitting” anybody back in the DMs…HA!

A3C Live Highlights Femcees Blimes Brixton & Gifted Gab

B.A.G., short for Blimes Brixton and Gifted Gab, which more so resembles Bars And Gangsta lyrics, describes nothing short of the duo. The West Coast MC’s have been undeniably taking over the internet with their cut throat antics not involving the typical “barbie b*tch” and “red bottoms” punch lines setting them aside from female MCs discovered via social media. Their single “Come Correct” which released a little over a year, gaining almost a million Youtube views, has linked the ladies from different backdrops of hip-hop.

The two put on a fun-filled show at Atlanta’s A3C Live which is a monthly series based from October’s Annual A3C Festival & Conference highlighting all three coasts of artists, entrepreneurs, and creatives that shape the culture of hip-hop.

Blimes Brixton from the San Francisco “Bay Area” and Gifted Gab from Seattle, Washington introduced the dirty south to some dance moves and jabbing lyrics at Aisle 5 which houses concerts of talent with a widespread Atlanta fanbase. During her performance, Blimes elaborates on her disdain for once being involved in battle rap..

“My voice is to connect us you feel me. So I stepped away from battle rap and I went back to music. And I looked back on my past at battle rap and I was like man why did I do that…I hated myself for doing that.”

Blimes also opened up about how a phone call from the legendary Method Man of the Wu-Tang Clan whom is expected to headline A3C Festival’s main stage Oct 6-7 has brought encouragement to her career.

“He was like yo I love your battles, like I love what you do shorty. Most battle rappers don’t make music. Like, you make music.”

Gifted Gab rocking the high ponytail, big hoops, and custom “B.A.G.” letterman jacket embodied the crowd with her lyrics..

“Ima show your bitches how to get it, and she gone bring it back to me. Spent a couple hunnids on a Civic, and she gone put some miles on it.”

As a solo release, on this year’s stoner holiday (4/20), Gifted Gab dropped the official video to “Eye on Em.”

In the interview above, Gab discusses her latest visual and the two expound on how they got close due to being involved in a “scwabble” after linking up in Seattle.

A lot of artist have skepticism when signing due to having limited creative control and being “put on the shelf” and the Huntsville native talks partnering with major labels to put out specific projects.

Some of his favorite Hustle Gang MC’s he’s worked with thus far are Young Dro & B.O.B. Translee leaves us in mystery of whats set to release this ye year following his latest project M.A.O.T.P.

In our one on one interview, this mogul in the making discussed a series of topics that included her purchasing her first home at the age of 25 while utilizing a government pre-buyer’s home program.

Ace Star explains the importance of having mentors and doing what millennials do best, utilizing the internet. Research was essential to the launch of her company and finding programs to assist with her first home.

Speaking of Dej Loaf, her and Jacques dropped a mixtape right before Valentine’s Day called F*** A Friend Zone.

21 Savage references Shy Glizzy in his new single “Havoc”

21 Savage also known as the Slaughter King steps into the second quarter of 2016 with a new single titled “Havoc” produced by Fresh Jones.

Deemed one of the last real street rappers according to Metro Boomin, 21 talks hood politics and being well-respected in the streets as usual but it was transparent that he threw a slick diss to Shy Glizzy in his lyrics.

“Slaughter gang b*tch I claim that, diss me get aimed at, fuck around get ya chain snatched, how much you pay for ya chain back?”

The single is a follow-up to his Zaytoven-produced banger “Oh Okay” which debuted just last Wednesday. There was a rumor surfacing back in October that 21 and the WATTBA producer Metro Boomin were cooking up a collab project titled SavageBoomin. Lets hope the release premieres just as heavy in the streets as his last three 2015 installments.

We seen it coming back in December when she addressed all the females with “Cheap Ass Weave.” The former stripper turned Love & Hip Hop star took it there to release a 17-track mixtape titled Gansta Bitch Music Vol. 1. Surprisingly, the tape is getting a good reaction from fans with the star sipping booze while getting brain on her mixtape cover.

If you make it past her chipmunk sound and aggressive lyrics, Cardi embraces her renowned hoeism. She speaks on why she goes hard for her coins, encourages everyone to be themselves whether thats being a hoe or a teacher, and of course she doesn’t fail to addresses her haters (which quite frankly seems to be baby mommas.)

“And for those who wanna know, I’m not your average hoe/ I be on my bullshit, but yeah I got standards though./ Yeah I fucked a couple niggas/ pull a lot of tricks/ bust a couple splits/sucked a couple dicks.”

Childish Gambino & cast previews his new family sitcom “Atlanta”

In October, FX Networks announced 10 forthcoming episodes from a newly anticipated comedy series “Atlanta” starring comedian, screenplay writer and musician Childish Gambino.

The idea for the sitcom had originally surfaced mid-2014 and after being approved by FX, Gambino (formerly known as Donald Glover in his early acting career) fell from the music scene following his duo mixtape and album release STN MTN/Kauai.

Tying together the best of both worlds as a musician and actor, the Stone Mountain native plays “Earnest ‘Earn’ Marks,” a college drop-out who is remerging his rap career after leaving Atlanta and returning to witness his estranged cousin having the fame he once pursued. The black family sitcom co-stars Keith Stanfield, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Brian Tyree Henry and Zazie Beetz.

While it sounds like Gambino may be playing an antagonist with his role as Earl, he also serves as executive producer for the series, along with Paul Simms and Dianne McGunigle. Check out the FX clip of the cast and preview of the show above.

Aiming for hits in 2016! Check out the new joint from DJ Mustard & Travis $cott

It’s a new year and the two are already going for hits on the radio charts. Travis $cott adds a bit of antidote to DJ Mustard’s new single “Whole Lotta Lovin.” The Rodeo artist’s faded echoes mesh well with the dancehall vibes the track sets off.

Hoping off the tour bus with The Weekend for the Madness Tour, Scott is set to hit the road again for Rihanna’s ANTI World Tour in February. As far as DJ Mustard on the other hand, we’re not sure what he has up his sleeve following the single’s release.

Scott’s signature look of platted braids and Stone Island jackets led to A$AP Nast taking to Instagram to call him out on “swagger jacking.”

According to Complex, Nast claims A$AP Mob to not be the first, but the trendsetters of the Italian Brand that is also worn by Drake and other major artists. Unfortunately, the footage they claim can longer available on Nast’s Instagram account.

The #DabTour Is Underway And The Migos Are “Muhfuckin Tired”

Unlike Kevin Gates, the trio is “Muhfuckin Tired.” We welcomed Offset home last month and as he stamped in “First Day Out,” its time for his crew to get it.

Still holding the title of Young Rich Niggas, the sequel tape YRN 2 is here as promised and just in time for the #DabTour which kicks off next month. Although it’s still debatable whether the Migos are the head hunchos of the dance craze, the group is set to hit 15 cities opening the tour in San Francisco and closing in North Carolina.

In the meantime, take a listen to the 30 Roc produced single that’s been surfacing the internet since the tape’s release.

“Purple Reign” May Have Threw Off Russell Wilson’s Football Game

“If young Metro don’t trust ya I’m gone shoot ya.” We thought Future had pump faked for a second when we seen the “11:56pm” tweet on Saturday, but Purple Reign arrived just in time to throw the Seahawks off yesterday.

The 13-track project features production from his right hand man Metro Boomin (who still isn’t off the hook for not giving us Ape Shit) along with sounds from Southside, DJ Spinz, Nard & B, Zaytoven and more. It’s not a surprise that he let Drake in on a collaboration for the project.

If you haven’t peeped, dropping mixtapes at the top of the year has been a ritual for Future since 2011. Yesterday, Live Mixtapes announced Purple Reign had surpassed the score for No Ceilings 2 in less than 24 hours. Let’s see what Ciara has stirred for our ears.

Future Makes the First Cut from Mike Will’s ‘Ransom 2’ with “Al Sharpton”

Its been over a year since Mike Will Made It released the first Ransom, and earlier this week he took to Instagram to mention it’s follow-up leaving out details of a release date.

Ransom was a collection of new sounds and forthcoming hits from the Atlanta producer. The first installment featured cuts from Atlanta natives Rich Homie Quan, DC Young Fly, 2 Chainz, Skooly, Future and Key while giving shine to Ear Drummer signees Rae Sremmurd and Eearz.

Looking back at the December 2014 release of Ransom, Mike Will followed the project releasing Rae Sremmurd’s breakout album Sremm Life that following January. With the rumors of a Sremm Life 2 underway, it seems Mike Will is using similar promotional tactics which could possibly give the duo a replica of their 2015 success.

Last night, Mike Will unleashed Future’s “Al Sharpton” joint as the lead single off the recording. So far, we can pretty much look forward to Rae Sremmurd, Eearz and Future being featured on Ransom 2.

Peep Mac Miller & Miguel’s MTV2 Premiere of the Official Video for “Weekend”

Mac Miller & Miguel, the last two people we’d expect to collaborate on a joint, premiered their video for “Weekend” several days ago on MTV2. The visual featuring the two cruising the city in an old school whip is slated from Miller’s 2015 album GO:OD AM.

Half-way through the video, Miller alludes his experience of getting high with a vine hallway full of females corpses. Miller goes on in his lyrics wasting away his troubles of the week with narcotics and fine women as Miguel reaps on the days of loosing himself during the week, but coming alive on the weekend.

Late 2015, hip-hop was lucky enough to have Erykah Badu come out the cave releasing a telephone themed mixtape “But You Can’t Use My Phone” featuring a cut with musical savior Andre 3000.

Messin’ round this morning, Badu graced Soundcloud with her rendition of Kanye’s newly released track changing the title to “Trill Friends.” She also didn’t fail to mention a new mixtape in the works titled “THIS $h!t TOO EASY” which she has yet to announce a release date.

Repeatedly singing the hook with her funky, yet soulful lyrics, there’s no doubt that she may have free-styled the track just as she did for BYCUMP.

Since her active Twitter presence and heavy support of the art culture, its questionable whether her cover art may be from a fan or a follower of her Baduizm movement. The hand drawing is a spitting image of her Twitter avi.

How Ya Doing? Keith Murray Trolls on Being “Gay”

During a call from Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning Show last night, Keith Murray of the Def Squad made a joke about coming out the closet which led sources to run off with the idea of the rapper being gay.

“I got a big announcement to make…it’s bigger than Frank Ocean and Caitlyn Jenner, Murray says building up the anticipation on air. “Keith Murray’s coming out the closet!”

Social media is way to quick these days with gifs and memes already surfacing the web.

“I’m happy. I’ve been happy all my f*cking life,” Murray stated. “I’m coming out of the closet with new music and a new documentary.”

Lets hope the new releases make just as much noise just as if Murray were to really come out the closet.

Murray is most known for his Eric Sermon produced single “The Most Beautifullest Thing in This World” which debuted in 1994. Check out his throwback video below.

Red Carpet Highlights: WeTV’s New Show “Growing Up Hip Hop” Brings Out The Stars

Tuesday evening the cast of Growing Up Hip-Hop gathered for WE Tv’s red carpet event in Atlanta, GA. The premiere shadows the careers behind six descendants of hip-hop royalty (Master P., Rev. Run, Sandra Denton aka Pepa of Salt and Pepa, James Debarge, Damon Dash, and Jam Master J)

Faced with upholding the legacies of their parents and growing up in the industry, Angela Simmons, Romeo Miller, Damon “Boogie” Dash, Kristina Debarge, TJ Mizell and Egypt Criss each struggle with personal business ventures, finding love and creating their own career paths aside from their parents.

The screening for the unscripted series was premiered at SCADShow, followed by a Q&A — moderated by multimedia personality Ebony Steele. Afterwards, guests joined the cast at Whiskey Park for a lively after-party featuring music by DJ Mars and Mizell.

The season kicks off by uniting the millennials for Boogie’s art gallery while Angela prepares for the debut of her faux fur fashion line demanding support from fellow GUHH cast members.

Kristina comes forth about personal issues of not being able to see her incarcerated father James Debarge.

TJ Mizell explores his craft as a DJ, following in his father Jam Master Jay’s footsteps who was murdered in Queens, NY back in 2001. His killer has never been caught.

Egypt, is getting her feet wet with her music and acting career mom-managed by her mother Pepa of Salt-N-Pepa.

Romeo faces the pressure of getting ready to take over Master P’s No Limit’s label while getting comfortable in a new relationship with his girlfriend Toneata. He also shows vast concern for Angela’s love life and work ethic.

The premiere episode has Angela receiving a very bizarre gift at her Beverly Hills condo prompting her famous dad Rev Run to suggest that she should cancel her fashion show. What happens next is like a scene from The Blair Witch project so fasten your seat belts and be prepared to take a scary ride of your life on Thursday as the season debuts on WeT.

We may be familiar with artists from East Atlanta, Decatur and Stone Mountain but there are very few to mention Panola Road and Lithonia. Rising artist Michael Aristotle made 2015 a year to get well acquainted with the East Chains, a label composed of producer Wili Hendrix and other creatives. His most prominent release, Thanks For Nothing, made its debut last March on Complex and is still grabbing attention at the turn of 2016.

As we anticipate the next release from Michael Aristotle, the 22-year-old artist along with his producer Wili Hendrix sit down to discuss their rise on the Atlanta music scene.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s Stepdaughter Accused of Stiffing Uber Driver Over $20

New Year Uber riders weren’t the only customers with unpaid cab fares. Kia Absalom, step-daughter of U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch had some difficulty paying for her Uber ride during a ride from Brooklyn, NY. It appears that there may have been a glitch with the popular app which caused a yellow cab to take Absalom to a NYC police station when she didn’t have the money to pay.

Absalom refused to pay the cab fee by the driver. The 21-year-old thought she had paid the $20 cab fare with a UberT app-Uber’s taxi hail option which allows the rider to pay with cash or credit, but not through the app.

After finding out that she did not have cash, Absalom’s contacted her step-mother Lynch who did not have any credit cards in possession-only credit card numbers which Uber driver Hasssan Almaweri refused to accept.

“So I drive her to the police station,” Almaweri told NY Daily. ” I go to the police and say, ‘This lady doesn’t want to pay me.”

Absalom’s boyfriend came and paid the fare and she was released without having to undergo a fingerprinting process.

To avoid preferential treatment while in custody, Absalom’s father Stephen Hargrove and FBI agent John Robison made sure the precinct handled the incident properly and that there was no lenience shown towards Abasalom. It appears to have been a rush to judgment on the part of the cab driver since there were never any formal charges filed against this young woman.

Kendrick Lamar closes 2015 with “God is Gangsta” mini film

Kendrick Lamar continues to release visual masterpieces ending 2015 with a furious mini film titled “God is Gangsta.” The 7 minute clip, directed by The Little Homies, meshes To Pimp A Butterfly singles “u” and “For Sale.” The short film starts off with Kendrick hysterically drunken to landing mesmerized in a nightclub.

The visual is a follow-up to the release of “These Walls” which is based in an old-school pool hall. Kendrick Lamar has released visuals for over half of his tracks on TPAB which currently earned the west coast rapper 11 Grammy nominations.

Bill Cosby and Steve Harvey are just a few of many references from Kanye’s 2016 record “Facts.” Over Drake and Future’s “Jumpman” track, the hip-hop mogul rhymes metaphors of the “Kimoji” designed after his wife, Odell Beckham, Lebron James and two references to Nike which listeners seem to take as a diss.

We didn’t quite forget that Kanye West had promised fans an album mid-2015, but with a recording stating nothing but complete FACTS with What A Time To Be Alive producer Metro Boomin is nothing but pure gold to begin the new year.

Mariah Carey Touches Hearts with her Memorable Photo of Natalie Cole

Mourning of devastation, Mariah Carey pays homage to R&B songstress Natalie Cole by posting a touching photo with the legendary soul singer.

Natalie Cole, daughter of legendary jazz musician Nat King Cole, took her last breathe after battling several health complications on New Year’s Eve. The 65-old-crooner was widely known for her hit singles “This Will Be,” “I’ve Got Love on My Mind” and a duet with her late father for “Unforgettable.”

Mariah Casey shared a photo worth 1,000 words earlier on Instagram with Cole grasping her face while holding it gently as if she was her seed. Smiling warm in the photo, Carey’s instagram caption read:

“Beyond devastated to hear about the passing of the beautiful and talented Natalie Cole. My deepest condolences to her family and all who were blessed to know her. She will be truly missed.”

The Grammy award-winning singer who’s had music all throughout her veins proved to be a musician of jazz, pop and blues taken from her father’s baritone influence. Many have looked to her as bridging the gap in soul between her father’s generation and merely modern sounds.

Recently in March of 2015, Cole surprisingly hit the stage in Fisher Hall, New Year celebrating the legacy of Paul Newnan.

According to pollster.com a few other great figures such as Aretha Franklin, Patti Labelle and Arsenio Hall have mentioned Natalie Cole’s great influence.

“I am sorry to hear about Natalie Cole’s passing,” Franklin mentions. “I had to hold back the tears. I know how hard she fought. She fought for so long. She was one of the greatest singers of our time. She represented the Cole legend of excellence and class quite well.”

“In college, I named my bass guitar Natalie,” Hall reflects. “As a young stand up comic I opened for Natalie Cole. She was all that, in all ways! (RIP ).”

“Sending prayers and condolences to all the loved ones of my friend Natalie Cole,” Labelle says, “She will be truly missed but her light will shine forever!”

Lamar Odom Blasts TMZ for Accusing him of Stalking Ex-wife Khloe Kardashian

Former Los Angeles Clippers player Lamar Odom is being accused of stalking, touching, and ambushing his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian. Following the incident, Khloe eventually ran away after a witness threatened to call cops.

According to bystanders, Lamar shocked Khloe outside Soul Cycle studio in Beverly Hills, California jumping out of a car and demanding to talk and reconcile with her.

The two had officially split in 2013 which the reality star claims their break-up was attributed to his drug abuse. The two officially signed divorce papers this past July and now Khloe is currently in a relationship with another NBA player, James Harden.

Sources have reported that since the two have separated, Odom has stalked Khloe on several occasions including once approaching her outside a gym, an incident which initially put the reality star in fear.

Lamar insisted that he has not been harassing her and that he’s heartbroken that Khloe has yet to defend him. The sports star went off in a tirade on TMZ about allegedly following and stalking his ex-wife. He claims he does not use social media and that the two have ended things on a good note.

“Do not disrespect my space,” Lamar warns TMZ. “Do not disrespect my character because thats what y’all have been doing”

After an Ohio woman’s truck was destroyed by flames, hate crimes continue to prove that racism is taught.

According to New York Daily, a 40-year-old woman has found her 2006 Ford pickup truck in flames after experiencing racial tension amongst neighbors in the vicinity of her business.
