Lauryn Hill
It has been rumored for some weeks now that former Fugees singer/rapper Lauryn Hill is pregnant. Well, at her concert at Detroit’s Chene Park on Saturday (June 4), she ended all speculation and confirmed that she is indeed pregnant with her sixth child.
“I’m going to be taking time off to give birth,” she told the crowd.
Hill, 36, has five children, Zion David-Nesta, 13, Selah, 12, Joshua, 9, John, 7, and Sarah, 3, with on again off again partner Rohan Marley (son of music legend Bob Marley).
Two months ago, Lauryn told the audience at one of her shows in LA at Club Nokia: “I keep having these children. I don’t know if I’m the most fertile woman in America.”
All of her children, however, have not slowed down Lauryn Hill down. There are no reports about any new recordings from Ms. Hill but she is scheduled to headline this year’s Rock the Bells tour alongside Queens’s rapper Nas.
