@tamekaraymond Scores First Interview with Entertainment Tonight & Pulls No Punches Against Ex-Husband Usher

Tameka Raymond, the former wife of singing superstar Usher Raymond IV has decided that she has been quiet long enough and after fending off several offers to tell her side of the story as it related to her heated custody battle with star, she sat down last night with Entertainment Tonight and told a passionate & emotionally moving story about how the unfairness and possible mishandling of her custody battle has forever changed her life.

In a three part interview with the producers of ET, she talks about the passing of her son Kile Glover and how moving forward with the trial afterwards was necessary to bring some closure to a very contentious and painful court battle. The celebrity stylist explained that she has not given up the fight to regain primary custody of her two children and this was obvious with the September 19th court filing by attorney Lisa West where she hopes that judge Bensonetta Lane reconsiders her earlier ruling on primary custody being awarded to Raymond.

In that filing, she states that based on newly discovered evidence that the singer was not forthcoming to the court when he stated that his schedule would permit him to adequately take care of his children. However within days of her ruling the singer was tapped by the show “The Voice” to be one of their judges. West argues in her filing that the mere fact that the show is tapped in Los Angeles and requires the singer to be on the West Coast is clear evidence that the court decision wasn’t based on the evidence presented by his legal team. One of our sources also revealed that the show even convinced Tameka to speak about an issue that she believed would have drastically change the direction of the case. Whatever it was, we will sure to be tuned in to the show which is scheduled to air on Monday night, September, 24th 2012.

For her part, Tameka Raymond has given a rebuttal of sorts that will counter some of the things Raymond stated on his one on one interview with Oprah on her own network. At the present time Tameka still retains primary custody of both children until a decision has been made on her motions filed to the court. Perhaps her interview will help her restore her already tarnished image by the public and she can move on quickly from this.
