The clock is ticking for singer YK Osiris because he has been accused of taking a $20,000 watch from renowned Beverly Hills respected watch dealer Seth Grossman founder of Essential Watches, and failing to make payment. The jeweler claims to have been pursuing payment for over a year, and is now contemplating legal action, including filing a police report for theft. Seth alleges that he had initially become acquainted with the singer through his associate and client, Sean Kingston. The watch in question is an Audemars Piguet, a highly sought-after timepiece commonly adored by entertainers who enjoy flaunting their wealth.

If you put your money in it you are banking with Coastal Community Bank a white-owned bank with very little to none Black leadership. Those who own Greenwood are responsible for telling us the truth and explaining why they lied. Unfortunately, Greenwood is owned by Paul Judge, Ryan Glover, and one of our talented and most popular leaders (Killer Mike) @killermike as well as one of our most historic icons (Andrew Young) and they both played a part in this betrayal. 
Now @greenwood which is really a front for a white institution acquired  @thegatheringspots and they are now allegedly replacing the original Black leadership with a white man. Disappointing is an understatement this is a direct attack on Black people, young Black men, and the spirit of entrepreneurship overall. 
The last Fresh Prince pose…a representation that it’s time to move on and prepare for a new chapter. I want to give encouragement to Ryan and TK and thank them for what they did for us. I’m sorry you are going through this but just know the Arc of the Moral Universe is Long but it Bends Toward Justice.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s office has just announced their decision to charged former Marine Daniel Penny with the death of street entertainer Jordan Neely as early as Friday. The cries for Neely’s killer was echoed around the world and has shed a light on how mentally ill are treated in a city where many have been either jailed for their condition or worse killed. Penny, who has been coined The Subway Strangler is scheduled to surrender to the 5th police precinct in downtown Manhattan and be processed and then taken to 100 Centre Street to be formally charged with 2nd degree Manslaughter. The victim was placed in a chokehold after boarding a F train in Manhattan complaining that he was hungry and didn’t care if he died.

Rather than render assistance to Neely, Penny decided to put Neely in a fatal chokehold. When police responded to the crime scene they took Penny to a transit substation and then released him hours later. Daniel Penny’s father was a top-ranking NY State Police Colonel in charge of Internal Affairs prior to his retirement and some believe that might played a factor in how the police initially dealt with Neely’s killer by releasing him without charges.

”I appreciate DA Bragg conducting a thorough investigation into the death of Jordan Neely,” Mayor Adams said in a statement. “I have the utmost faith in the judicial process, and now justice can move forward against Daniel Penny.”

Many have criticized the Mayor and former cop about how he responded to the death of Neely and even condemned the New York City Police Department’s handling of protestors and the arrest of a veteran photo journalist covering the protest.

Andre Zachery, 59, told the New York Daily News that his son was not violent and did not deserve to be choked to death.

“Obviously he was calling for help…He wasn’t out to hurt nobody,” the grieving father said. “He was a good kid and a good man too. Something has to be done.”

On Tuesday, the defamation trial of rapper Doodie Lo against instagram model FTN Bae was scheduled to start in a south Florida federal courthouse where FTN Bae accused the rapper of sexually assaulting her child in the past. While rapper Doodie Lo was never charged with that crime, the model continued accusing of the claim on social media. At some point he filed a lawsuit seeking damages in excess of 30 million. Moments before the case was to have commenced, model FTN Bae was arrested outside of the federal courthouse and was carted off to a local jail charged with an unrelated criminal case. While she was in jail for the day the case proceeded to trial while only rapper Doodie Loe had an opportunity to present his side. The case went given to the jury the same day and the rapper was awarded a judgment of 11 million dollars.

During the day reports appeared on several blog sites and social media pages reporting the rapper’s victory but what wasn’t known to many was the fact that FTN Bae wasn’t present for the trial and never had an opportunity to tell her side of the story. Many stories floating around on the internet suggested that she was arrested for lying in the federal case for perjury however that never happened. Additionally, one of the cops that participated in the earlier arrest of her that day was scheduled top testify for rapper Doodie Lo as a plaintiff witness. In an interview with HHE’s Dennis Byron on Instagram after her release from jail, she told a different tale of what actually happened and why she didn’t appear at her trial. She also wrote a very passionate letter to the presiding judge in the case and stated that she would like for him to allow her to file a motion to have the verdict reversed and give her an opportunity to have her day in court.(see below) She alleged in her writing that she believed that the plaintiff and his counsel engaged in an act of fraud and deception to the court and that she can prove it if she’s allowed to file her motion. U.S. District Rodney Smith gave Britney Elder aka FTN Bae 2 weeks to have her motion filed with the court.

The attorney representing David Saulsberry aka Doodie Lo is no stranger to controversy either as attorney Ariel Mitchell was accused of offering a witness in a case involving r n b singer Trey Songz over $100,000 to change her story in a civil case involving the singer.

“According to the transcript, Thielen — who was with Jeffries the night of Trey’s alleged assault — says Mitchell offered to pay between $100k-$200k if she’d lie and say she witnessed Trey sexually assault Jeffries … and claim that Trey assaulted her too. Mitchell allegedly said she was trying to paint Trey as “the next R. Kelly.”

Thielen says Mitchell’s plan was to take her allegations to Trey’s team in hopes of coming to a monetary settlement, and her lies would help to make that amount larger … again, this according to the transcript.” That case is currently being investigated by the Florida Bar Association according to our sources.

The attorneys for music executive Chaka Zulu want police to drop the murder charges against him and they believe the newly released video footage will paint a different picture. Zulu, who’s real name is Ahmed Obafemi, is the longtime manager of Atlanta rapper Ludacris. He was arrested after a fight outside the APT 4B restaurant in June.

Atlanta police said Zulu shot and killed 23-year-old Artez Benton outside the restaurant, where Zulu hosts a special night there on Sundays which is by invite only and you need a password to get into the club. Zulu was also shot in the back that night but has since recovered from his injuries. The begging question for many is why weren’t others charged that night even though the video shows others were involved in the assault as well.

In a new court filing U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York Breon Peace wants a federal judge to rescind the bond of Christopher “DeBoski” Gunn for alleged violations of his pre-release conditions which centers around alleged use of marijuana while on bond, alleged intimidation of a witness or victim in his case and leaving his home while on bond. The motion interestingly references a video in which Gunn posted to his youtube channel where he claims an “informant” is threatening his life. While we can’t confirm the voice on the video is in fact an informant but it does appear the person on the video has threatened to shoot Dunn and was asking the person in the video about having access to the defendant’s address.

Apparently from the court filing it does appear that there is some type of connection with the voice in the video and the government’s case against Christopher Gunn otherwise why would this not be treated as a potential crime? The hearing is scheduled for 2:00pm today and we will be updating the story at the conclusion of the hearing.

In one video recorded nearby the federal courthouse in Brooklyn and walking distance from the U.S. Attorney’s office a man purporting to be Gunn stated the following:

“I want y’all to get real familiar with this building I’m about to pull up and show to you…Imma show you where we’re gonna be going. And we gonna get real familiar with this building, and this building is gonna get real familiar with the enterprise, also known as Kelly Steppers…We know who is that if Kelly goes down, everybody’s going down.”

In the same video he displays an image of the U.S. Attorney’s office which is located on Cadman Plaza suggesting where his viewers can locate the prosecutors. “That’s where they at…that’s where they work at…we’re going to storm they office. We’re gonna storm (he goes on to name the three assistant U.S. attorneys that prosecuted R. Kelly). To make matters worse DeBoski received a series of donations or payments for the sale of ammunition using the popular payment app Square with those transactions referring former singer’s alias.

Based on the evidence authorities presented to a federal magistrate to get an arrest warrant, Gunn was either calling for others to meet up during the sentencing of R. Kelly for nefarious reasons or he was scamming his followers to send money for his own personal benefit. R. Kelly will be sentenced on Wednesday in New York City.

Christopher Gunn is facing up to five years if convicted of the charges.

The late relationship expert Kevin Samuels will be memorialized today by many of his followers and hosted by Houston attorney Dennis Spurling who has stepped in for the man coined The Godfather of the manosphere, a movement dedicated to men uplifting themselves and their community. Additionally it is a collection of websites, blogs, and online forums promoting masculinity, misogyny, and strong opposition to feminism. Communities within the manosphere include men’s rights activists, incels, Men Going Their Own Way, pick-up artists, and fathers’ rights groups. Mr. Samuels has provided counseling for both men and women and he has been responsible for over 50 plus marriages taken place because of his popular youtube platform and his sometimes very harsh advice he has given to his guests.

Rap star Nicki Minaj even called into his show seeking advise and at one point she even asked Samuels to rate her from a scale of 1-10. He retorted by asking her to rate herself which she said she believed she was a 7 but Samuels then told her he thought she was a 9. Prior to his death he appeared in rapper Future’s music video as well as appeared on a recent episode of the TV show Atlanta.

The memorial is scheduled to start at 3:00pm CST.

The mother of relationship expert Kevin Samuels has confirmed his death. Beverly Samuels-Burch has briefly spoken out about the untimely death of her son Kevin. In an exclusive interview with NBC News, she stated “That was a terrible thing for social media to put that out. I didn’t even know. I hadn’t even been notified. We also spoke briefly with Mr. Samuels mother who didn’t want to give any details about his passing. His death was first reported by blogger Gossipinthecity but we could not confirm any other details as there was no police report available at the time.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ … EMS was called to Kevin’s home Thursday morning for a “person injured” and found Kevin unresponsive on the floor of his apartment.

The police report states they talked to a woman who said they met Kevin Wednesday night and spent the night with him at his place in Atlanta. The woman — who is a nurse — said Kevin started to complain of chest pains on Thursday morning, and she tried to help him. She told cops he fell on top of her, so she called 911 and requested a defibrillator from the front desk of the apartment complex.

According to the report, Kevin was taken to Piedmont Hospital.

Last time Kevin was seen online was during a broadcast of a segment entitled “Modern Women Are A Party of 1” where he lectures two separate about dating and relationship decisions.

Mr. Samuels was a controversial figure in the black community because of his approach of how he counseled women who asked to be on his platform. In a two year span he had amassed an audience of over 2.5 million followers across various social media platforms.

While his cause of death has yet to be officially determined, many are speculating that he died from a heart attack.

In a rare and exclusive interview with YouTube Tasha K, the relationship guru discussed misconceptions others have had about him and confirming that he loves women only despite the false rumors that have been circulating to try and discredit him. Tasha K admitted in the interview that the best way to discredit a black man is to but false rumors out about his sexual preference. Kebe retorted by saying “they did that to her husband.”

The bad boy of hip hop has found himself once again in trouble with law enforcement and this time there is video evidence. According to a Los Angeles property manager identified as Gary Pragar, Johnathan Lyndale Kirk infamously known as DaBaby allegedly contacted the owner of a short term rental property that was suppose to only accommodate 12 people but after the owner received numerous noice complaints, he decided to visit the property himself. Upon arriving on the property he realized that there were close to 40 people on site and that there was a video shoot taking place. After establisihing that the initial short term rental agreement was breached, he attempted to shut down the production.

From the video below you can see an elderly man being assaulted by an alleged member of the rapper’s entourage and according to the police report the alleged victim is claiming he was sucker punched in the head by someone. However from the footage posted by TMZ you don’t see the rapper near the property owner so one might ask, how are prosecutors going to prove their case against the rapper?

DaBaby has been in the news lately for a number of violent acts and the most recent one where a video surfaced where he was seen fighting one of his artists backstage at an event and then there’s the bowling ally incident where he is caught on video putting hands on his ex-girlfriend Dani Leigh’s brother.

Just days ago Rolling Stone obtained Walmart security footage of DaBaby shooting and killing 19-year-old Jaylin Craig in 2018, a shooting the rapper claims was in self-defense. The footage in question appears to depict the rapper as the aggressor however his attorney Drew Findling has stated that his client was in his legal right to defend himself.

“Witnesses were interviewed and corroborated Mr. Kirk’s statement. The entirety of the surveillance video was viewed and determined to corroborate Mr. Kirk’s statement … Mr. Kirk was protecting himself and his family at the time of the shooting.” This according to TMZ.

Youtube star Lovely Ti put a piece together on her popular channel chronicling some of DaBaby’s violent encounters with others titled The Dark Side of DaBaby: DaBaby filmed allegedly assaulting his new artist Wisdom.

His “Streetsweeper” series is one of his major claims to fame, as was his recurring radio spot on Hot 97 — which was dubbed the Drama Hour … another nickname he bore. According to a police report, Ryan had a dispute with four individuals and when one of them made a motion to suggest they had a firearm Ryan drew his weapon and fired several shots in their direction resulting in the death of victim Yambo and two other teens who were walking home from school. The two other victims in the shooting injuries are not life-threatening.

Ms. Yambo was killed just blocks from her home in the South Bronx and around the corner from University Heights Secondary School. She was pronounced dead shortly after emergency responders brought her to Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx.

After police interviewed Ryan with his parent, they arrested for 1 count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and criminal possession of a firearm.

“My baby was an innocent bystander. She was walking home from school. She was a good student, a good girl. She wasn’t in the streets. Our kids aren’t even safe walking from a place where they get their education,” according to the mother of Yambo, Yamely Henriquez.

NYPD is now saying that the firearm used in the shooting was a “ghost gun” and was likely manufactured by using a 3D printer which is untraceable and doesn’t contain any serial numbers.

After Ryan’s criminal arraignment in the Bronx, his high-profile attorney Deveraux Cannick who represented singer Robert Sylvester Kelly during last year’s federal trial in New York spoke to the media regarding his client’s case and the victim’s mother response to her daughter’s death: “I’m sure like every other mother in a situation like this, you don’t know what’s going on …. I’m sure she’s grieving like all the other mothers right now.” The attorney also stated that he would concede to the no bond request by the district attorney pending the results of discovery evidence.

Alston III professionally known as Choke The Joke, a former Rocafella Records Video Director and Real Housewives of Atlanta producer and social media influencer is spearheading the peaceful protest to bring more attention to what he and many others believes was a wrongful conviction. Choke’s goal is to bring more attention to the 1907 Mann Act that is viewed as a racist law that has been used in the past to prosecute men of color for dating white women.

Congress passes the Mann Act, which was ostensibly aimed at keeping young women from being lured into prostitution, but really offered a way to make a crime out of many kinds of consensual sexual activity.

The influencer was appointed by a cadre of Robert Sylvester Kelly’s supporters to expose some of the problems that lead up to the government convicting the singer on 9 felony counts which includes the discrepancies in witness testimony during the trial and how the Surviving R. Kelly documentary was laced in falsehoods that provided a platform for some whose sole purpose was to financially benefit from the singer’s name. From 3p-6pm today, hundreds of supporters is expected to converge on R. Kelly’s former neighborhood located in the 400 block of Old Homestead Trail, Johns Creek. According to Choke, the current owner of the home has no issue with their presence as long as they do not get on the property.

Sadly, we have lost another member of the culture due to apparent substance abuse. Michael K. Williams, best known for his role as “Omar” on The Wire died at his Brooklyn apartment at the age of 54.

Williams spoke about his substance abuse as he rose to stardom and admitted that he was surprised that he was still alive.

Williams said in a 2012 interview that he would retreat to Newark, NJ during breaks in his shooting to obtain cocaine and weed. “I was playing with fire” Williams said at the time. It was a matter of time before I got caught and my business ended up on the cover of a tabloid or I went to jail or worse ended up in a body bag.”

Actor Wendell Pierce who played alongside Williams in The Wire shared beautiful memories of his friend. — The death of my love for this brother, can only be matched by the depth of my pain learning of his loss.” Pierce goes on to say that his friend was an “immensely talented man with the ability to give voice to the human condition portraying the lives of those who humanity is seldom elevated until he sings their truth.”

Hollywood film producer Manny Halley said during a brief interview: “Michael was my friend and I’m sad to learn that he’s no longer with us in the physical but his spirit is sure to live on with many of us for the years to come.” I just spoke with him last week and he wanted me to work on a film project with him.”

Just this past June, Michael K. Williams paid tribute to rapper DMX at the 2021 BET Awards who also died as a result of his struggles with substance abuse.

Gregg Leakes, the husband of reality TV star NeNe Leakes, has died.

The 66-year-old entrepreneur, who was a regular cast member on Real housewives of Atlanta alongside his wife Nene Leakes has died due to his battle with colon cancer while at home surrounded by his friends and family.

This past Saturday, Nene Leakes told guests at her Duluth restaurant The Linnethia that her husband was transitioning to the other side.

“Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart. After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife Nene Leakes,” A family friend said in a statement sent to Hip Hop Enquirer.

Fans watched the couple for almost a decade on the popular reality show Real housewives of Atlanta go through the ups and downs of a family raising a son while managing their various business endeavors.

Rapper DaBaby went from performing at the BET Awards to being booted from one of the biggest festivals in the world all because of his ridiculous homophobic remarks during a recent concert.

The organizers announced within the past few hours that his services will no longer be needed because they have decided to replace his spot with rapper Young Thug.

According to TMZ, the following statement was released by the concert producers:

DaBaby was supposed to perform at 9 PM Sunday for more than 150,000 fans, as the final act of the 4-day festival — instead, he’ll be sidelined, and Young Thug has been moved up into that slot.

The 11th-hour change is in response to the rapper’s onstage rant last weekend at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami. ICYMI … DaBaby told the audience to put their phones up, “If you didn’t show up today with HIV/AIDS or other STDs that’ll make you die in 2-3 weeks” and “Fellas, if you didn’t suck a n***a d**k in the parking lot.”

There is apparently a campaign making its rounds on social media to #CancelDaBaby and seeing that he was just dropped as a pitchman for Boohoo clothing and removed as a featured artist on the song “Levitating” after artist Due Lipa denounced his comments.

Singer Chris Brown even chimed in via his instagram stories with the following message:

Brown was one of many who have called out the rapper and while a few have defended DaBaby, the consensus at this point is that he has been canceled by many.

A Federal judge in Atlanta has completely shut down blogger Tasha K’s frivolous counter lawsuit against rap mega star Cardi B. in a blistering ruling that will likely cost the blogger millions of dollars in legal fees she will have to pay Cardi just based on the bogus filing. The suit stems from Cardi B filing a defamation against the blogger and another woman named Starmarie Jones who made false claims that the famous rapper had an STD which was false.

The court ruled in favor of the rapper, saying the blogger, Latasha K, couldn’t prove Cardi was connected to the assault and emotional distress she claims to have suffered back in 2019.

In docs, obtained by TMZ, the judge said Latasha “failed to produce any evidence that [Cardi] herself threatened [Latasha] or made her believe that she was going to harm her.”

The judge continued, “Instead, [Latasha] has only made allegations that others who may be associated with [Cardi] made these threats … and has failed to demonstrate here that the threats … were directed by [Cardi]” or committed by anyone working for her.

The federal judge ripped Tasha K., lawyers for handling the filings in a unprofessional manner and stated that he may look into reporting her attorneys to the Georgia bar association for the way they have been handling the case which should have been a red flag for Tasha K. to get a new legal team or abandon her efforts all together; those options are no longer on the table for her now.

When Latasha Kebe filed her countersuit back in 2019, Cardi’s legal team put out the following statement:

“Tasha K’s counterclaims are completely frivolous and have no merit. Tasha K clearly seems to think that this lawsuit and the courts are her social media channel where she thinks that she can say anything she wants, without regard for the truth, harassing Cardi and her friends to try to gain readers to her blogs at the expense of Cardi. This is failing–Tasha’s owns words in interviews and documents show that her claims are completely false.  Cardi fully expects that Tasha K’s claims will be dismissed, and that at the end of this case, Cardi will be victorious and Tasha K will be held accountable for the blatantly false things she has said, written and posted, about Cardi, that Tasha K knew were false.”

Clearly Cardi’s legal team was spot on with this one.

According to our sources closely connected to the case, Cardi B. fully intends to take her case to a jury trial in hopes of making the pay dearly for the pain and suffering she has received because of the lies that were told against her and her family.

At our estimation, Latasha Kebe and company may owe Cardi B over $250,000.00 in legal fees alone just for fighting the frivolous lawsuit which will likely go into the millions if Cardi prevails in her suit.

Pennsylvania’s highest court threw out Bill Cosby’s sexual assault conviction and opened the way for his immediate release from prison Wednesday in a stunning reversal of fortune for the comedian once known as “America’s Dad,” ruling that the prosecutor who brought the case was bound by his predecessor’s agreement not to charge Cosby.

Cosby, 83, has served more than two years of a three-to 10-year sentence after being found guilty of drugging and violating Temple University sports administrator Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004. He was the first celebrity tried and convicted in the #MeToo era.

Cosby was arrested in 2015, when a district attorney armed with newly unsealed evidence — the comic’s damaging deposition testimony in a lawsuit brought by Constand — brought charges against him days before the 12-year statute of limitations ran out.

But the Pennsylvania Supreme Court said that District Attorney Kevin Steele, who made the decision to arrest Cosby, was obligated to stand by his predecessor’s promise not to charge Cosby. There was no evidence that promise was ever put in writing.

Justice David Wecht, writing for a split court, said Cosby had relied on the former prosecutor’s decision not to charge him when the comedian later gave his potentially incriminating testimony in the Constand’s civil case.

The court said that overturning the conviction, and barring any further prosecution, “is the only remedy that comports with society’s reasonable expectations of its elected prosecutors and our criminal justice system.”

Cosby has always maintained his innocence and said that he would not participate in any sexual predator courses even if he had to spend his entire 3-10 year sentence behind bars. The court also pointed out that prosecutors should have never allowed others to have testified against the comedian when there was no way of vetting them for truthfulness.

Cosby should be walking out of a Pennsylvania within the next 2 hours according to our sources.

Bill Cosby was viewed as “America’s Dad” prior to his unjust conviction and he is estimated to have a net worth of 400 million dollars and was also rumored to have offered to buy a major television network prior to his conviction.

A nearby restaurant guest shot footage of the moments leading up to what can be viewed as one of the most brazen robbery attempts in the posh community of Buckhead Atlanta’s Lenox Mall. We must warn you the footage is not safe for children to view so click with caution. According to eyewitnesses, two individuals believed to be only 15-years-old where seen holding a mall security guard at gunpoint trying to get him to open the Apple store after store hours. In the video, it appears the guard was pleading with the suspects and without warning the smaller individual fired around three shots into the guard who is in critical condition at Grady Hospital.

Witnesses told police the suspects ran towards the nearby Westin hotel and within minutes a 15-year-old boy and girl were apprehended in possession of what is believed to be the firearm used in the shooting. Because of their ages, we were not able to provide names of the suspects. They were placed in a youth detention center and will be facing armed robbery, tampering with evidence and gun possession.

There have been a string of crimes that have occurred at the popular Lenox Mall in recent years with a shooting of a Macy’s employee in the parking lot as well as a shooting of a customer who had to be driven to the hospital by his fiancée while shopping for their wedding. Mayoral hopeful Kasim Reed stated at a recent fundraiser to announce his bid for the next mayor is that he was saddened that women had to drive their cars on almost empty because they were afraid to stop at night to get gas due to the crime that has plagued the City of Atlanta. He promised to crack down on crime if he was re-elected.

After a Minneapolis jury found former cop Derek Chauvin gusty of second degree murder and other related charges, the Department of Justice was already considering charging the former cop and three other officers with violating George Floyd’s civil rights and today they are one step closer to making that decision. Sources close to the investigation have revealed that charging the cops with federal civil rights violations is a done deal in that the papers are being drawn up to formally charge all those that were involved in the death of Mr. Floyd.

We caught up with American activist Tamika Mallory at the memorial for the late rapper DMX and she was asked what did she think of the verdict of Derek Chauvin and what this means to the movement for justice for people of color.

Federal prosecutors are moving forward with plans to charge Derek Chauvin and three other former Minneapolis police officers with federal civil rights violations, according to two local media reports in Minnesota. The Minneapolis Star-Tribune, citing a source, and KSTP-TV, citing sources with knowledge of the investigation, say the Justice Department intends to ask a grand jury to indict Chauvin in connection with the death of George Floyd, along with three other former officers on scene — Thomas Lane, J. Alexander Kueng and Tou Thao.

Derek Chauvin will be sentenced on June 25th on his state conviction.

After major news outlets reported the alleged shooting suspect Noah R. Green may of had ties to the religious organization, the Nation of Islam released an official statement informing the public that while Green did donate to the organization he was not an member of the group.

The statement drew a comparison to that of Oklahoma City convicted bomber Timothy McVeigh in that he professed to be a Christian however all christians shouldn’t be held accountable for his actions which makes logical sense.

A string of media outlets have used this tragic incident to tie Minister Farrakhan and the Nation to the actions of one individual who had a history of mental disorder.

We have prepared this statement to answer some of the many inquiries that we have had over the last few days about Mr. Noah Green. Naturally, we, like most of you, were disturbed watching the news of an assault on the U.S. Capitol where one police officer was killed, one was injured, and Mr. Green was killed.

We speak on behalf of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, the members of his family, all of the registered Muslim members of the Nation of Islam, and all people of good will everywhere, in that, we are in sympathy with the victims of this tragedy. And we are in sympathy with the families of these victims. And we, like you, can only offer them condolences and our deepest sympathy for their loss.  Our prayers are for the full recovery of the officer who was injured.

The Nation of Islam has no history of violence against the government. Federal, state, and local law enforcement are all well aware of our history.

We have held four national marches, including the Historic 1995 Million Man March, which we know to be one of the largest gatherings in the history of the United States of America and the most peaceful on the U.S. Capitol grounds. We had a good working relationship with the U.S. Capitol police during each of these historic events.  

It is being reported that Noah Green was a “follower” of the Nation of Islam. This young man, Noah Green, we believe may have attended our Saviours’ Day convention in Detroit, MI in February 2020. In March of 2020, due to the COVID 19 pandemic, we closed our Mosques, and began conducting meetings and classes remotely. A search of our records indicates Noah Green was not a registered member of the Nation of Islam.  It appears that in late summer (August-September) of 2020, he started the process to begin his study to become a member, but he did not complete the process. 

He did make a donation to the Saviours’ Day Gift. Every year, the followers and supporters make a charitable donation to the Nation of Islam’s Saviours’ Day Gift charity. Every donor who makes a donation of $1000 or more is issued a Certificate of Completion. This certificate does not establish that the donor is a member in good standing in the Nation of Islam.

Mr. Noah Green’s alleged use of an automobile as a weapon and the alleged possession of a knife as reported, violates our teachings.  We absolutely disavow this act that resulted in the senseless loss of life. It is shocking for us to learn that someone who was attempting to be a part of our ranks may have been involved in something as tragic as this. 

But, we respectfully say to the members of the media and to the American people, Timothy McVeigh confessed that he was a Christian, but nobody blames the church for his misconduct. No one would blame Jesus or their pastor for unlawful and immoral behavior that is contrary to the teachings of Jesus.  You have criminals, people that do horrific things, but we never know their religion. It’s not important because religion does not teach criminal behavior. Criminal behavior is an aberration. Criminal behavior is a violation. Criminal behavior is absolute rebellion toward what God teaches through the mouth of His prophets. 

When thousands of American citizens engaged in an attempted insurrection, attacking the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, resulting in the deaths of five persons and injuring many, the news media did not question what their religion was.

Nowhere in the teachings of Islam, nowhere in the teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, could we countenance any man taking the life of an innocent human being. For us, human life is sacred. And the violation of human life is a violation of God, Himself, because He’s the giver of life and He’s the ultimate cause of death. But He doesn’t give us the right to kill innocent people. That is against our law.

We are taught “to never be the aggressor in word or in deed”, for Allah (God) hates aggression and is not with the aggressor. This is our teaching. In fact, all of us who are members of the Nation of Islam have been instructed not to carry any weapons—not so much as a penknife—not on our persons and not in our homes. We do not rely on weapons of war to defend us. We rely on our belief and our faith in Allah (God).

We condemn the wicked mischaracterization of some media reports trying to tie this tragic incident to the teachings of the Nation of Islam and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, and all people of good will should do the same as well. 

So, most of us, like you, are questioning why would this young man allegedly do such an act? If he did, what happened to him? What caused this? The family released a statement published in the Washington Post saying of Noah Green, he “was not a terrorist by any means.” He had been studying for his master’s degree in business administration but had also suffered from “depression and potential mental illness.”

It has also been reported in an article from CNN, that he shared on social media, “I have suffered multiple home break-ins, food poisoning, assaults, unauthorized operations in the hospital, mind control.” 

This young man had struggled in his early life but overcame much as a student to graduate with a degree in finance. He had a wonderful, noble idea to help the black and brown people through his knowledge of finance. “I am sure,” Minister Farrakhan states, “had he been blessed to come through the crisis that he was going through, he would have been a star in the mission of the resurrection of our people. We need to know what happened to our brother.” 

So, our research is continuing into what happened to this young man and we cannot rest until we find out what caused him to take a turn like this. We are saddened by the loss of this brother with such great potential.

With heavy hearts we offer sympathy and condolences to his mother, father, family and friends.

One of America’s most noted power couples have finally called it quits after six years of marriage. Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West have decided to go their separate ways after building a powerful empire and sharing 4 beautiful children together.

The writing was on the walls after Kanye called out Kim’s mom Kris Jenner during a rant on twitter referring to her as “Kris Jung Um” and Kanye’s failed presidential run didn’t help matters either.

We are told that there is a prenup agreement in place and the two have been separated for months and the split is amicable. Kanye currently resides in Wyoming and Kim still resides in Calabashes, California.

We reached out to Kanye’s manager for comment but as of press time there were no answers.

Unfortunately, spending five days in the hospital fighting for her life after being shot by a stray bullet, the Fulton County Medical Examiner has confirmed Kennedy has died. Riding in her aunt’s Nissan with her family near Phipps Plaza, the 7-year old was shot in the back of the head. The department believes an argument between men at the nearby Sak’s 5th Avenue ended violently.

Furthermore, the community and the Maxie family rallied all week sharing prayers, condolences, and raising money for her care. The GoFundMe raised over $45,000, before she passed the day after Christmas. Many community members are speaking out over this tragic death and the rise of violence in the Atlanta area.

Although, Police report the family’s car most likely was not the intended target. Additionally, there have been no arrests, according to the Atlanta Police department. They are offering a $15,000 reward for anyone with information on who shot Kennedy.

For this purpose, Mayor Keisha Lance-Bottoms has released a statement on the shooting. She encourages the public to continue providing information that will “lead to the arrests of the careless and heartless people responsible for Kennedy’s death,” while calling it a “senseless murder.”

“While the Atlanta Police Department has significant leads in the apprehension of those responsible, it does not erase the pain felt when a beautiful, vibrant, and loving child is tragically taken from her family,” the Mayor relays.

An innocent drive by the mall turns deadly after a child was shot from an unrelated shoot out. An aunt, mother, and 7 year old girl were driving past Phipps Plaza on Monday night when the young child was unfortunately struck by a stray bullet. There was a dispute between unassociated individuals, which ended in shots being fired.

The aunt and mother rushed the child to the Scottish Rite hospital and reported the incident to police. Furthermore, the suspects are not yet known or in custody. As the community presses for answers, the homicide commander relieves some questions about this shocking case. The Atlanta police are still early in their investigation, so there will be more updates soon.

This Southern California man died last Tuesday after he was in police custody. Arrested for alleged assault with a deadly weapon following an incident that required police assistance at a grocery store in Jurupa Valley. The confrontation ultimately did not end well for Ernie Serrano. It left him battered, bloodied, and unfortunately dead.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department released body camera footage, as well as witness and surveillance video from that day, and it shows Serrano at a Stater Bros. attempting to check out at the register. Eventually, security intervenes due to his denial to exit the premises. Ernie Serrano is then sprayed with pepper spray, tazed, and beaten by baton.

Police released a preliminary autopsy report they say lists his cause of death as acute methamphetamine intoxication. The Sheriff’s Deptartment says this caused a fatal arrhythmia as he struggled with the deputies. According to police, Serrano resisted arrest and the department and the District Attorney’s Office were currently investigating.

Footage shows Serrano bleeding from his face as deputies attempt to handcuff him while pinning his torso against a countertop. He screams for them to let him go as cops try to calm him down. Many speculate Serrano screamed, “Excessive force” at a point.

Humberto Guizar, the family’s attorney, says the deputies held him down in a compromised position for too long, which he believes is the reason behind Serrano’s death. He’s calling for an independent autopsy to be done and signals he and the family are preparing for a lawsuit.

A diabolical plot was foiled recently by by police when a Gainsville, Georgia 17-year old white teenager planned to kill members of a predominately black church.

Caitlyn Pye, now 17, was arrested last fall after authorities foiled her plan to stab worshippers at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

The girl was identified as Caitlyn “Karen” Pye, who was 16 at the time of her arrest had hatched a plan to kill members of a AME church but was caught by school resource officers after her classmates revealed that she kept a notebook of plans on how she planned to execute her murderous plot. Police revealed that Pye was a follower of Dyann Roof, the racist who was convicted of killing 9 black members of an AME church in South Carolina. He was later sentenced to life in prison for his heinous crimes.

Gainesville High School administrators learned of the plot last November after Pye’s classmates told them she had a notebook containing “detailed plans to commit murder” at the church, authorities said. Drawings found in the notebook indicated the plot had been in the works for several weeks, according to police.

School officials searched Pye’s bookbag and found a purple-and-white notebook and two T-shirts, according to assistant district attorney Julia Greene. One T-shirt had “natural selection” written on the front, the other had “Free Dylann Storm Roof” and swastikas drawn on each arm, Greene said. 

Roof shot and killed nine people at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2015. 

“On the back of the shirt were several writings including, ‘I’m not crazy I had to do this,’” Greene said. “’I had to do it because somebody had to do something, because Black people are killing White people every day on the streets. What I did is still miniscule compared to what they’re doing to White people every day. I do consider myself a White supremacist.’”  

The administrators notified school resource officers, who launched an investigation and arrested the teen. She had an extensive knife collections where she planned to use it on members of the church when she was arrested by police.

In a negotiated plea deal that didn’t receive the blessing of church leaders, Pye was sentenced as a juvenile and is only required to remain in a facility until the age of 21 and will be on probation for 10-years after she is released.

The disparity in how she was sentenced compared to many others, especially people of color shows how far we still need to go to receive equity in the criminal justice system when it relates to people of color.

Someone might want to investigate the judge who sentenced Pye to this sweetheart of a deal. Just saying.

Los Angeles prosecutors are moving forward with charges against Canadian rapper Tory Lanez who’s real name is Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson for the alleged assault on rap star Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, known professionally as Megan Thee Stallion.

Not too long after Lanez dropped a song proclaiming his innocence did prosecutors decided that there was enough evidence to charge him. He is facing 22 years & 8 months in prison if convicted of Aggravated Assault and related weapons possession charges.

When the incident first happened, there were speculations that there might have been another assailant or that Megan had made up the story about being shot because she failed to reveal that she was shot to the cops who had stopped the vehicle she was in. In the initial police report, it stated her injuries were a result of broken glass.

She later revealed that the reason why she didn’t mention what had happened to her:

“The police come, I’m scared. Police was literally killing black people for no reason. The police is really aggressive. You think I’m about to tell the police that us black people got a gun in the car?”

For his part, Lanez thought it was a good idea to get online and deny the allegations instead of being more sympathetic to what had occurred to her. Was this an accident or did he really intend to inflict bodily harm to the rapper?

The rappers are both major stars in the US. Megan is currently No 1 in the US and UK singles charts with her collaboration with Cardi B, WAP. It is her second US chart-topper of the year after the remix to her track Savage, featuring Beyoncé.

Lanez has released five full-length projects, all of which reached the US top five, most recently in April with The New Toronto 3, which was also a top-five hit in the UK.

Even if Megan decides not to pursue charges against Lanez, the State of California can still prosecute the case. There is also a possibility of a civil suit being filed by Megan.
