This year’s Grammy nominations are in, and Queen Bey continues to prove why she is one of the best to ever do it. First she released an album with only an Instagram post as marketing, and now she is nominated for six Grammys, making her the most nominated woman in Grammy history! Beyonce has now been nominated for 52 Grammy awards since being in the business. This year, the superstar received six new nominations, including Album of The Year and The Best Urban Contemporary Album.
With her six nominations, Beyonce was not the only one at the top. Sam Smith, who is having a breakout year, and Pharrell Williams also joined Queen Bey with six nominations as well, both in the running for Album of the Year.
Not too far behind were Iggy Azalea, Beck, Drake, Jay Z, and Usher to name a few, all earning four nominations each.
The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will broadcast live on CBS on February 8, 2015 in Los Angeles at the Staples Center. Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko received nominations as well for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
