On season 2 of “Katie,” the anchorwoman turned talk show host, Katie Couric, will have a second sit-down interview with Cash Money rapper Lil Wayne. The episode, airing on September 9th, will be the second time the rapper will interview with Couric.
For the CBS feature, “All Access Grammy Special,” back in 2009, Lil Wayne uttered the famous words, “I’m a rapper. That’s who I am Miss Katie, and I am a gangsta, and I do what I want.”
According to Allhiphop.com, this time on Couric’s own show, the rapper and head of Young Money Entertainment, will discuss “dropping out of high school, his recent hospitalization, his time in prison, his mother’s request for him to stop drinking syrup, and more.”
