If you know anything about Atlanta then you know that Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def Recording was a huge music staple here in the city  during the 90’s and 2000’s. JD has decided to celebrate the 20 year legacy of the recording label with an anniversary concert which will feature some of So So Def’s most memorable talents such as Da Brat, Jagged Edge, Kriss Kross, Bonecrusher, Dem Franchise Boyz and Dondria.

Today (January 15) many of the reunion’s headlining acts gathered at a press conference for the event where Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed had this to say about So So Def’s legacy:

“Atlanta has a thriving music industry, and So So Def Recordings has been an important part of that legacy for the past two decade… This milestone is another example of why Atlanta is the entertainment capital of the Southeast. I am pleased that So So Def has called our great city home for 20 years, and I wish the company continued success for many more years to come.”

Check out pics from the press conference below and get your tickets via Ticketmaster when they go on sale January 19th.
