While the rapper was served with the lawsuit, he decided not to attend the hearings and as a result he lost the case by default.

In January 2018, Antney was able to receive a modified judgment in California with interest to the tune of $1,864,012.50 plus $135,140.91 in interest. The fact that French Montana is a resident of California, it would make collecting on the judgment much easier.

In an exclusive interview with Antney, she stated that she would have never filed suit had French Montana never decided to disparage her name on a local radio station. It was never about the money it was always about the respect.

Antney has maged the careers of Waka Flocka, Gucci Mane, Nicki Minaj and a host of other celebrities. She can also be seen on the upcoming episodes of WETV’s Growing Up Hip Hop.

Months ago financial guru Jay Morrison along with members of his staff experienced a case of racial profiling at a Atlanta Houston’s restaurant that prompted him to call for a boycott of the establishment. Rapper T.I. along with reality stars Debra Antney, Yandy Smith and Xscape3 member Tameka “Tiny” Harris had similar complaints about the treatment they had previously experienced but it all came to a head when thousands descended on the establishment with cries of “Shut it Down.”

It appears the restaurant has reached out to the Grand Hustle mogul with a promise that there will be no more discriminatory practices. TMZ is reporting the following:

Sources close to Tip tell us he’s had several meetings with execs of the Atlanta-area restaurant since October — when he first imposed the boycott … this after a number of African-Americans complained the chain was reluctant to seat them.

Waka Flocka‘s mom Deb Antney helped pushed the boycott back in October after someone claimed they went to the Houston’s in Atlanta with a large party of African-Americans and they were refused service as they watched a large party of Caucasians seated comfortably.

We’re told the restaurant assured T.I. there will be NO racial discrimination in seating customers. T.I. felt the dress code had the effect of discriminating against African-Americans, and the restaurant has assured him the code will be less strict.

Houston’s also agreed to bring more minorities into the restaurant’s business.

According to multiple sources HHE spoke exclusively with, the set of the Love and Hip Hop Atlanta was like WWF with multiple people engaged in “Mortal Combat” as one source described it. At the center of the melee was none other than the “wife” of Stevie J., Joseline Hernandez. “We all thought that she was possessed the way she looked after attacking Althea Heart, the girlfriend of Hip Hop Weekly owner Benzino, stated the source. As Benzino attempted to come to the aid of his girlfriend, Stevie J. took off his shirt and went for Benzino however security got in between them before any punches could connect.

Joseline then attacked Waka Flocka’s wife Tammy Rivera by pulling out her weave but that proved to be a very big mistake for Joseline because Waka’s mom Debra Antney was able to “put them hands” on Joseline. I couldn’t believe how quick Waka’s mom reacted because all of a sudden she was unleashing a series of blows to Joseline Hernandez head and body, it looked like Floyd Mayweather took over Deb’s body because I never saw a woman hit so hard and fast according to our source who was on the set.  Sources are also reporting that took a nasty fall after she was allegedly pushed by Hernandez.

Family and friends joined in remembering Caodes Scott also know as Kayo Redd at the Willie Watkins Funeral Home in Riverdale, GA. The viewing lasted from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. allowing time for everyone to pay homage to Kayo. Today was a tough day to say the least.

The atmosphere was very emotional as loved ones cried and leaned on each other for support. So many people came to pay respect to the rapper; parking was scarce and the funeral home had people in every corner of the newly built home. The out pouring of love from supporters was evident today and you could feel the love for this young man who will obviously be missed by many.

Today will be Kayo Redd’s home-going and those who are interested in attending should go to the following:

It is never easy reporting on the death of anyone but it is especially more troubling to do so when it involves someone so young  with a promising music career ahead of him. Unfortunately, we have learned exclusively from music veteran and industry manager Debra Antney that she has lost another one of her sons,  Caodes Scott professionally known as Kayo Redd on Saturday due to a suicide via self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Debra Antney spoke with HHE’s Dennis Byron via phone moments ago and stated the following:

“He had just left my house and he headed down the street and the next thing I knew was my son was dead.” As Ms. Antney struggled through her grief to explain the last moments she remembered with her son, she expressed that her son known to many as Kayo Redd was not happy with the fact that he couldn’t help her like his brother Waka was doing as well as he was concerned about the problems with his vision.”

“My son was a good kid and I never had any problems with him.” “I just don’t know why he would do such a thing?”

Atlanta rapper Gloss Da Boss also co-hosted a radio show with Kayo Redd and she also spoke exclusively with HHE about how devastated she was when she learned he had taken his own life.” I couldn’t believe it. We were just on the air together talking about other independent artists. There was nothing in his demeanor that would have lead me to believe he would do such a thing.” He always supported my projects in the past and our relationship deeper than the radio show. He was my friend.”

The last few weeks for the the Hip Hop Community have been rough to say the least. We are now dealing with the death of Kayo Redd, brother of Juaquin Malphurs better known as Waka Flocka Flame. Waka Flocka confirmed his passing via twitter and also posted a Flipagram video.  Kayo Redd was an aspiring rapper preparing for the upcoming release of  mixtape “Badd Khemistry“, no official release date as of now.

We will continue to follow the story and provide details as they are released.

Dayne Dash who handled booking and featuring inquires for Redd posted a picture seen here on Instagram with the caption:

“You had my back and I had yours, @whiteboytommy was never more than 2 steps away. “I love you brodie” is what you told me EVERY TIME we parted ways or got off the phone ever since Dunk passed. I’m not going to say the “rest ….” Phrase, because anyone that knows you knows that you never liked or wanted to say that. It was always “LONG LIVE”. The only word that can explain my feeling right now is disbelief. I don’t even want to say anything else right now.”

Superstar rapper Nicki Minaj posted the following to her Instagram”

Recently, a former associate of rap superstar Nicki Minaj felt the need to get a few things off his chest in a video that was broadcasted on the internet within the last 24 hours. In that video, he made mention of Nicki Minaj former manager Debra Antney and his dealings with her. We spoke with Ms. Antney about what she thought of his recent rant.

“If Fendi in fact had an issue with me or my associates Nicki Minaj or Brian “Baby” Williams, making a video is not the proper forum to start a conversation. Just for the record Fendi did not discover Nicki Minaj, Bow Legged Lou and Anthony of the legendary group Full Force actually discovered Nicki Minaj. So let’s be clear on one thing, Full Force birth her, I raised her and YMCMB married her and now she is a grown woman.”

We also asked her about the relationship she has with Nicki Minaj and her response was clear, “I love Nicki and Safaree Samuals both and they will always be a part of my life, we communicate on a regular basis.”

We asked were there any final words for her former associate? “Yea, I heard he is trying to release a DVD next month and while he doesn’t have to throw shade on me to do it, I will support him by buying a copy. “

It was no surprise that Young Money’s Nicki Minaj would walk away with the Best Female Rapper Award Sunday night but who she thanked in the end was a big surprise to many.

After paying homage to her label mates and CEO of Young Money Wayne Carter the Barbie rapper saved the best thanks for last when she said “Thank you Deb, I see you” which was a great gesture on her part in light of what was being said about the two on the blogs and in magazine about Nicki firing her manager without notice. Let’s just hope Lil Kim understood the subliminal message Nicki sent to her.

There is enough drama in hip hop and to have women beefing for silliness is a distraction to the music. Congratulations Nicki Minaj that was a good look…let’s go!
