Singer Kid Rock made some controversial comments about Taylor Swift on Twitter on Friday causing many to call him out for his crudeness.

The tweets were likely in response to Swift’s September Vogue interview, where she states her reasoning for not endorsing a candidate in the 2016 election.

“Unfortunately in the 2016 election you had a political opponent who was weaponizing the idea of the celebrity endorsement. He was going around saying, ‘I’m a man of the people. I’m for you. I care about you.’ I just knew. I knew I wasn’t going to help,” Swift said. “Also, you know, the summer before that election, all people were saying was: ‘(Taylor Swift’s) calculated. She’s manipulative. She’s not what she seems. She’s a snake. She’s a liar.’ These are the same exact insults people were hurling at Hillary (Clinton).”

She added, “Would I be an endorsement or would I be a liability? Look, snakes of a feather flock together. Look, the two lying women. The two nasty women. Literally millions of people were telling me to disappear. So I disappeared. In many senses,” she said.

Swift also expressed her concerns about racism and discrimination against the LGBTQ community in the United States during the interview.

This is likely what prompted Kid Rock’s response, as he took to Twitter on Friday to bash Swift.

“Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies….period,” he wrote. “And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there. Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl. -Kid Rock.”

Kid Rock has been an avid supporter of Donald Trump, and even visited the White House back in 2017.

Celebrities quickly jumped to Swift’s defense on social media. Chrissy Teigen wrote “you’re pathetic. – Chrissy Teigen,” while Sheryl Crow said “Spread love. Not hate. End of subject.”

“Literally any rock is better than Kid Rock,” Adam Best said. “Fraggle Rock, Jailhouse Rock, the Rock, Chris Rock, a small rock that flew up from the road and cracked my windshield.”

Swift will appear in the upcoming Cats movie. She has yet to respond to Kid Rock’s comments.

Singer Justin Bieber defended his manager, Scooter Braun, after artist Taylor Swift expressed her anger over Braun acquiring the rights to her master recordings.

Braun recently took over Big Machine Label Group, causing the Blank Space singer to make a lengthy post about how heartbroken she was. Additionally, Swift took to Tumblr saying “Scooter has stripped me of my life’s work, that I wasn’t given an opportunity to buy. Essentially, my musical legacy is about to lie in the hands of someone who tried to dismantle it.”

Swift has also made claims that Braun has recruited Bieber and rapper Kanye West to bully her over the years, as West notoriously interrupted her speech at the 2009 Video Music Awards and in 2016, Bieber posted a screenshot on instagram of him, Braun and West with the caption “Taylor Swift what up.”

Swift’s dispute with West continued as the lyrics “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous” appeared in his song Famous. Both Kanye and Kim Kardashian West have repeatedly made claims that Swift approved over the lyric, however, the pop singer denied these allegation, causing Kim to leak a video of a phone call between West and Swift with her approving the line.

After Swift’s public disapproval of Braun’s newly found ownership, Bieber made a lengthy instagram post defending his manager and stating that both him and Braun have no problems with Swift. However, in the post, Bieber did ask what Swift aimed to gain from going public, even going so far as to write “What were you trying to accomplish with that blog post? Seems to me like it was to get sympathy.”

However, the singer has apparently made claims that he will no longer publicly comment on the dispute, according to the Hot New Hip-Hop website.

Azealia Banks may find herself in another hot situation after she involved herself in the Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj fight. Banks came out about how she feels about them musically, which included Taylor Swift, and said their music was all basic.

Her series of tweets did take aim at Miley’s hosting, which many criticized during the VMA’s. Saying in a tweet, “Miley Cyrus HAS to know her shit is whack as fuck. It has to be a joke… Isn’t she making fun of herself? Yes? No?” To which a fan called her out on and she replied.

Fans also took aim at her comments about Nicki Minaj as she has always been supportive of the Young Money rapper.

But she compared her liking of Minaj and critiques of her to a sandwich and not liking the crusts. She also stated how it is apart of a cycle. “The cycle!…Life must feed on life. She drank Kim’s blood, I will drink hers, & there will be sum1 new 2 drink mine.”

Nicki was not scared to clap back on Miley on live TV, let’s see where this situation goes as Azealia Banks admittedly signed a bad contract deal with her manager that bars her from releasing music until March 2016. So if Nicki puts it in a rap, it looks like Azealia would only be able to respond on Twitter.

Nicki Minaj was on Twitter discussing her issues with her 2015 Video Music Award ‘Video of the Year’ snub for the ‘Anaconda’ video. She never mentioned Taylor Swift by name when she made this comment.

Well Taylor Swift went on the defense about the tweet and said that she has done nothing but support Nicki Minaj. Then brought that she was pitting women against each other.

Yet again playing victim, Taylor Swift felt she was being attacked and went to the all ‘inclusive’ move as if the tweet was specifically about her. It is not about all the women in this case. While black artist should not need to feel these awards validate their hard work and success, the awards do mean something to people who do not know better. Of course Nicki was confused as why Taylor would respond to her.

Clearly missing the point, Taylor Swift would not acknowledge the obvious snub from the category but Ryan Seacrest may have unintentionally made it noticeable even for Swift to see.

THAT was the point she was trying to make. When women of color flaunt a body that is not slim or skinny then it is looked at as ugly and shamed. Serena Williams has become the perfect example in the sports world. While she dominates the court and has a very defined shape and physically fit, she is called a man and in the media not considered beautiful.

Ryan Seacrest headline painted Nicki Minaj out to be the stereotypical ‘angry black woman’ when she never trashed Swift in any way, just pointing out the hypocrisy of it all. Everyone at MTV was fine about twerking and showing off when Miley Cyrus was doing it.

Photog Daniel Ramos claims Kanye  beat him bad at LAX and he’s suing for what he claims are substantial injuries.  Kanye’s lawyers say the only reason to dredge up the 2009 MTV Music Awards — where Kanye jacked Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech — and this year’s Grammy’s — where he jumped on stage after Beck won — is to poison the jury by making Kanye seem like a bad guy.

In the legal docs — obtained by TMZ — Kanye’s lawyer says the incidents aren’t relevant, but what’s really interesting is the admission that Kanye ended up looking bad.  The lawyer says the videos would “cause jurors to form a negative opinion of West.”

Ramos’ lawyer, Gloria Allred, tells TMZ, “It is laughable that Kanye West appears to be so ashamed of his conduct that he doesn’t want the jury to know what he did,” adding, “Millions watched his conduct.  Why does he want to hide it from a jury?”

(Reuters) – Lucian Grainge, chairman of Universal Music Group, beat out “X Factor” host Simon Cowell and the manager for teen pop sensation Justin Bieber as the most powerful person in the music industry, according to a list released by Billboard magazine on Friday.

The second annual list left off music stars such as rapper-mogul Jay-Z, his wife and singer, Beyonce, and Irish rock group U2, all of which placed on the Power 100 list last year.

Billboard put Grainge atop the list in part for Universal Music Group’s $1.9 billion acquisition of record label EMI last September and the spinning off of part of that purchase to privately-held Warner Music for $762 million.

The industry magazine called the executive a “tireless advocate for the recorded-music business,” who took the top spot from Irving Azoff, the former chairman of ticket sales and concert promoting company Live Nation. Grainge placed third last year.

Coran Capshaw, the manager to pop singer Miley Cyrus and rock group Dave Matthews Band, ranked No. 2 for the second straight year. Capshaw’s privately-held Starr Hill Presents has stakes in live music festivals Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo among others.

Behind Capshaw was Martin Bandier, CEO of publisher Sony/ATV Music Publishing, at No. 3, while Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino placed fourth and Doug Morris, chairman and CEO of Sony Music Entertainment, rounded out the top five.

Cowell, creator of television talent shows “America’s Got Talent” and “The X Factor,” placed at No. 30, a giant leap from his No. 100 ranking on the inaugural list.

L.A. Reid, a former “X Factor” host and current chairman and CEO of Sony Music’s Epic Records, ranked No. 40, while “American Idol” host and TV producer Ryan Seacrest climbed up to No. 59 from No. 64 last year.

Scooter Braun, the manager of teen pop star Justin Bieber and British-Irish boy band The Wanted, was No. 42 on the list. Digital music pioneer Sean Parker, who co-founded music-sharing program Napster and invested in music streaming service Spotify, was No. 71.

This year’s list was largely absent of performers, drawing primarily from industry executives, music producers and talent managers.

Last year, country-pop singer Taylor Swift and pop singer Lady Gaga both made the list, but they were excluded this year.

It’s no surprise Beyonce was going to grab a few nominations but the Diva surprisingly received ten nods while 19 year old Taylor Swift received a total of eight. I don’t believe anyone her age has ever received that many award nominations from the Grammys so clearly she will walk away with a few. Akon’s artist Lady Gaga was also nominated for a total of five with “Best Album” nomination for her debut CD “The Fame”.

This has to be a huge day for her manager Troy Carter who has come a long way from the Ruff Ryder days. Troy was also responsible for guiding the successful career of rapper/actress Eve so we at HHE salute you Troy Carter…a job well done.

Since most of these diva’s are nominated in the same category there’s sure to be a few upsets…Let’s just hope Kanye West don’t act a fool when the winners are announced on January 31st in Los Angeles.

Rapper Drake is on a roll as well as he has also received a nomination for best solo performance for the song “Best I Ever Had” He has some tough competition in that category because he is going up against Eminem, Jay Z, Kid Cudi and Mos Def.
