Celebrity stylist Misa-Hylton-Brim is about to be homeless unless Diddy someone cuts a large check to Bank of America really quick.

Legal documents were recently filed in a New York State civil court asking a judge to rule in the bank’s favor and issue a foreclosure order on the home her celebrity ex-boyfriend Sean “P Diddy” Combs purchased for her back in 2003. The loan amount was for $622,518 and has since accrued interest in excess of $150,000.00

We are hoping that this is a clerical error by one of Diddy’s accountants as he is usually on top of his finances especially when it comes to his baby mamas. Ironically, HHE interviewed Brim at the 2010 Soul Train Music Awards and the last question we asked her was “How was those Diddy checks?” Click here to watch the interview.

Unless a payment is made very soon, the house will be auctioned to the highest bidder in Westchester County according to the docs..

Shanny Herrera, who was then VP of Marketing  for the Comet Group, a fashion house and licensing company approached the rap mega-star with the idea to launch Rocawear clothing. After several years of running Rocawear clothing, Herrera left the company to be an independent consultant for other popular lines.

As of right now the Harlem rapper has a collection of ASAP branded tees and hats sold exclusively on KarmaLoop.com but in a recent interview with Hip Hop Wired, the Harlem rapper who happens to be quite the fashionista, was asked if he ever sees himself starting an actual clothing line. His response: “that sh!t corny”. The 25-year old rapper continued on:

“I might collab with designers, but that sh-t corny. When rappers be doing that clothing line sh-t, that sh-t be corny man. That’s a slow reality show. Ya know how reality shows wash ni–as up. I feel that clothing line sh-t is just a slower reality show. That sh-t corny man”. 

A$AP also compared wannabe rappers to wannabe fashion designers:

“I’m not no fashion designer.  Just ‘cause I got good taste don’t mean that I know how to create it. I feel that’s disrespectful. It’s just like record labels and sh-t. Just cause motherf-ckers know Hip-Hop doesn’t mean you know how to create it motherf-cker. Just cause you know it, don’t mean you know how to create it.”

The self-proclaimed “Pretty Motherf@ker” wrapped up his rant with this:

“I know brands well, I’m not a fashion designer… It’s more to fashion than just fabrics and stencils. You gotta learn how to draw, you gotta know how colorways work and materials, it’s hard man… Hood clothing lines…I refuse man. I refuse. I’m good on that.”

After much anticipation, Dwayne Wade has reportedly made plans to introduce his new clothing line at NY Fashion Week! The line titled “Wade” is described as a “”lifestyle/basketball cultural sneaker” by Alejandro Ingelmo. “Wade” is a collaborative  between Wade himself and Li-Ning, a popular Chinese sportswear company. Designer Alejandro Ingelmo who is known in the fashion industry for his “space-age” designs will be the label’s first creative consultant.

Wade is taking a slight risk coming from a Nike Jordan contract estimated to be worth about $10 million. Anually, the Nike Corporation has more sales in China than the Li-Ning corporation generates anually worldwide. Not to mention the fact that Nike is much more popular in the U.S. than the Chinese company, Li-Ning.

In a recent interview Wade stated:

“People don’t like to change the brands they know… Jordan might have that cool factor, but I’m at a different point in my career. I want to be involved in building something.”

Kid Rock loves Detroit, and the story of the rocker saving the Made in Detroit clothing line from bankruptcy is certainly a heartwarming one. With just one small problem: The Made in Detroit shirts aren’t actually made in Detroit, Detroit Free Press writer Susan Tompor discovered.

The design originated in the Motor City, but the Clarkston company buys its T-shirts from manufacturers in the Dominican Republic, India, Honduras, and even Ohio. Worse, many of the adult shirts no longer carry a label stating where they were made, Tompor writes. Tommy Dubak, who runs operations for the brand, says that’s simply a design choice made partially because he “hated tags in my shirts.”

He says he does not believe there’s any problem with removing the tags, but one staff attorney at the FTC says that organization could take action if a T-shirt does not follow proper labeling rules. “Sure, many clothes are no longer made in the USA,” writes Tompor. “But sadly, you’d have to wish that a Made in Detroit T-shirt wasn’t one of them.”

Wayne still has a flair for the exotics I see. Those printed shorts were worn with the ‘Earl’ hoodie from the new Odd Future clothing line and a pair of the highly coveted Nike Air Yeezy kicks. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, if he likes it I love it. However, those of you who monitor every bowel movement he makes should be cautious trying this look at home. The mother of the late hip-hop rapper Tupac Shakur, announced she currently has been collaborating with designers for the creation of a men’s signature clothing line that will be called Makaveli. Makaveli was the alias that Tupac went by.

Rick Edwards, the Director of Marketing compared Shakur’s line to the hip-hop style of Akademiks and Enyce. Makaveli will represent the style that Shakur brought during his career in the music industry such as urban wear, poetry, pictures and other designs. Makaveli will include T-shirts and a denim line as well.

The debuting of Makavellie suppose to be in collaboration with a documentary called Resurrection of the former rapper that his mother has been working on for several years with the signature brand that will be in stores by Christmas 2011.

Lil Wayne has announced that he plans on launching a clothing line. The Young Money chief revealed that the line will be called “Rebirth” – the same as his 2010 release and the goal is to get people to “be funky like me.”

“I just figure that I… I’m funky,” he said. “I got that from my stylist, Marisa. I’m funky, like she say. I wear a whole buncha items at one time, you know what I mean? I be figuring you at least want one of them items. Like, ‘Damn, I’d love to have that safety pin he got on,’ you know what I mean? Anything. I got on these types of shoes, these shorts, this sweater… A year from now, I want all these items to be mine. Rebirth. I want—I just figure people want to be funky like me, so I got my clothing line.”

Weezy is currently prepping for the August 29^th release of Tha Carter IV, most recently dropping his free mixtape “Sorry for the Wait”.
