Yesterday on VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live, Yandy Smith and Mendeecees sat down with Nick Lachey to discuss wedding details and their upcoming wedding special, which airs on Memorial Day. The Love & Hip Hop stars stated that they have a few surprises up their sleeves.
Nick also states that Yandy started off as a producer for VH1’s Love & Hip Hop. Yandy says that she has taken herself completely out of that role and is now a cast member only.
Yandy revealed during the Love & Hip Hop reunion last month that the 2-hour wedding special will premiere on VH1 in May. In the sneak peek video, Smith tells her girls, “I’m getting married,” she is quick to break some hearts as she tells some of her close friends and family that they “are friends of the bride.” She claims that she can’t have “32 people walking down the aisle.”
The Love & Hip Hop Live: The Wedding will premiere on Memorial Day, May 25th on VH1.
This has to be a bitter-sweet moment for the couple as Mendeecees must appear in a federal courtroom to be sentenced for his conviction on trafficking heroin and cocaine. He is facing a 5-40 year sentences when he appears to court in August.
