Today we bring you a classic throwback single from one of the best in the game, Jay Z. “Big Pimpin” was the final single off of Jay’s fourth album, Vol. 3.. Life and Times of S. Carter. The track featured UGK rappers Bun B and the late Pimp C. “Big Pimpin” was a landmark moment in the late 90’s for hip-hop because it was one of the first tracks to bridge rappers from the east coast and the south. Commercially, “Big Pimpin” was the most successful single off Vol. 3.. Life and TImes of S. Carter. The video was directed by Hype Williams in Tinidad during its Carnival.
