Lil Wayne is still at war with Cash Money Records, so Carter V is still up in the air as far as when it will be released. Nevertheless, expect a second installment of Sorry 4 The Wait to grace your speakers soon to hold fans over. Mack Maine, President of Young Money Records, took to Instagram last night teasing the Weezy lovers with two video clips of a snippet of Lil Wayne’s Sh!t freestyle, letting us know the mixtape is waiting for one more track to be completed.
The 15-second post showed Tunechi in a car smoking to his own freestyle, one that we are supposedly getting a full version of sometime this evening. The original version of the record appeared on Future’s Honest LP & also was featured on Mike Will Made It’s #MikeWiLLBeenTrill mixtape that dropped last year with new verses from Drake, T.I., & Juicy J.
There is no set date to Sorry 4 The Wait, but Lil Wayne has been very apologetic for keeping his fans waiting for new music, so it won’t be too much longer.
